Nice video Charley! I always feel like I’m hanging out with friends, when I watch your videos! I love it! The ground looks so dry there. That’s how our ground is too.
Been detecting since the 70's, colonial German homesteads use to place a small deposit of coins buried in the 4 cardinal directions from the home. This supposedly brought them good fortune monetarily. And like the horse shoe over the front door a small cache of coins over the front door, sealed in during construction, also assured wealth. I admit I don't know if the Dutch practiced the same tradition. Good Hunting!
Lol I still feel bad for y’all coming up and getting skunked. At least we had a good time. We even got a non detected 1700s house that day. I need to get some new places lined up and get some redemption.
Hello guys I just got done watching a video where you were detecting in central Pa. May I ask what part of Pa? I'm from Lewistown and you dug a piece with the name FRENCH on it! Whomever dug it would you be interested in selling it? I will donate it to the Mifflin Co. Historical Society! A friend of mine operates the MCHS. FOREST FISHER. IF interested please get hold of me! Thank You Kindly! Charlie.
