Thanks for the detailed instructions, especially the coloured PIN connector right side up as with my new battery it wasn't obvious (and I didn't have the old battery, it was removed a year ago). The cable of the new battery seemed to be twisted to appear that it should go the wrong side up. When I plugged it in, the battery held the charge and the laptop worked, but the battery was not recognized by the system. After trying many different fixes, and someone concluding the new battery was faulty, your video helped get it right.
Glad it helped. If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos and possibly consider watching a few others to get the algorithm to recommend my channel. Thanks!
I think mostly the latter. Thank you for the quick response. I will get me some 16gb sticks then. Do you also know whether is really has to be 2400t sticks? As it seems that 3200 mhz would also work but maybe not at the full 3200 mhz. (they are more readily available to me at the moment)@@ItsBinhRepaired
@Captain Bubbles so you're not strong enough to turn the screwdriver? Or did you destroy the screw? Either the screw would be destroyed or you need more strength to turn it.
@@ItsBinhRepaired the battery you recommended off Amazon is working great. I thought it would have a non hp battery message but no. Hopefully this battery will last more than 6 months tho
Hello I’m French , I wish replace the rtc battery of this notebook but I can’t find the place of . I opened the back of computer and ????? Can you help me please ?
Thanks you - but what’s the mean of this error message : The CMOS checksum is invalid. The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they change. CMOS Reset (502) ENTER - Reboot the system

Hi. Where did you purchase this battery? I have the same model and have a very swollen battery that needs replacement as well.

Are you sure two 16GB sticks will work? I see mixed results looking for it on the internet
I have a 15-ch010nd by the way, looks exactly like this one
If you see mixed results, then the answer is it'll work and either the others messed up, or they're quoting dumb hp manuals.

Hello, I am having issues removing to top middle screws as they are not budging
Is your screwdriver tight in the head of the screw?
@@ItsBinhRepaired Yes the screwdriver head is tight on the screw, the screws refuse to turn in any direction that’s the issue I’m facing

I can’t find the back cover online anywhere. Mine is super bulged and messed up.
Did you remove it? It usually bends back to shape
Yea I realized after removing it should be fine going back on. Released a lot of pressure when I took off those bottom screws lol.
