but somewhere near the dawn there are bodies linking arms in the street growing threads a hand raised at a table and as far as you have gone someone will go beyond we are many now and even more to come we’ll bring sun in the winter’s deep send a song through the line to move your feet for the fight we’ve got you I've been hearing you sing these words for about two years now, and finally this project is coming to fruition, one more piece to go. I cannot hear it, read it, without emotion welling up. The dance adds to it, greatly. Thank you, again. ♥
What a great video and song! I’ve been super busy lately and missed this release. Glad I’m discovering it now right before Thanksgiving. Perfect visuals and lyrics for it!
Since the election, I've been reaching out to friends, trying to keep tabs on my emotions, getting myself to cry when I'm able to, and researching ways to prepare. That last one has become an obsession that I have to monitor. This song and video broke through my numbness and got me bawling. Thank you. ❤ I needed this.
This brought tears to me once again and oh the final "we've got you" i could feel it through my heart. Sometimes we all need someone just to say it to us to make it feel like it will be alright. Thank you so much for this beautiful version and the video ❤
Thank you so much for this song and video, Vienna ❤ I’ve been listening to it on repeat recently, and it’s been so comforting on both a personal and political level. It reminds me of just how much we need community and each other, especially in these times. Even though I’ve been feeling a bit lost recently and don’t know where I belong quite yet, it reminds me of times when I knew I belonged somewhere, and reminds me that it’s something that’s possible to find and build again.
I love the depth of both the song and the video, dear Vienna. You have created an outstanding piece of art. I especially love the creativity and the different design of the paper fruits and vegetables. These vibrant colors are an invitation to really enjoy life and to be present in it.
Well, that just tugged at my heart and took me places I didn't know I needed to go. Thank you for this beautiful music, stunning video, and your gorgeous voice. ❤
Such a powerful video, with a beautiful simple metaphor! 💜 Hits the feels for sure! Also works very well with the music, that along with pt.1 is the sort of lightly carried yet richly textured mastery Vienna Teng knows how to do just brilliantly!
I was so happy to hear these songs live in Ann Arbor, and the videos just add to the story! I'm so glad you're making music and speaking your truth again! 💜
Thank you for this. Can't stop listening to the first two songs since I've noticed you've gifted us new music again. Didn't know it, but I kind of really need this song somehow.
They were really remarkable. I kept wondering if they'd be bored learning such small, almost banal movements, but they said they loved doing this kind of thing.
And again, wow. Just like part I, the song is fantastic and so is the video. Beauty, grace and a positive message. In that regard, somewhat reminiscent of Level Up, although the song is quit different. I was getting quite hungry there at the end ;)
A really wonderful song and video - thank you. And very interesting and different visually, from the origami fruit to the brief shot of bare feet on the kitchen floor.
Indeed, and her real dad too! You may recognize him from the video for "Level Up" (acting very out of real-life character ;) ua-cam.com/video/U4n_8R5lKnw/v-deo.html
It would have been quite a choice to do that! Since the music industry shifted new releases to Friday, the mashup will be released sooner. But all three tracks will be ready for anyone who needs them the week after.
The growing color and building community in the video is so beautiful, as of course is the song itself.
This was so, so beautiful, and such classic Vienna Teng. I'm so glad that you're still here, and creating music that we can take comfort in ❤

So glad, dear friend. Thank you 💜

Thank you. ❤ I needed this.
This made me cry (in a good way)!
This song was the hug I needed right now. Thank you.
according to Roon, my library has 1799 artists. Vienna Teng is my #1. Has been for over a decade.
This brought tears to me once again and oh the final "we've got you" i could feel it through my heart. Sometimes we all need someone just to say it to us to make it feel like it will be alright.

A caress to the soul.
I follow you from Argentina. Thank you for so much magic.
Everything stopped when I started this song. ❤
Gorgeous.

All credit to director Steve Milligan and his wonderful vision for this song (and many many hours of paper folding ;)

Beautiful song and video. So glad you´re back!
I was so happy to hear these songs live in Ann Arbor, and the videos just add to the story! I'm so glad you're making music and speaking your truth again! 💜
Ms. Teng, the song is full of depth. And a curious melancholy pervades.
I found Stray Italian Grayhound a few days ago, and I've been listening to these on repeat. They're so beautiful🤩
Another amazing music video. I loved how everything became colorful and real by the end!
What a lovely & creative video. BEAUTIFUL song and voice. It made me tear up. 🥹
A few lines in, and I'm already in tears. I feel this so deeply. Thank you for putting it all into words with your music.
This producer cooked❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
what an AMAZING song and music video! hearing this song absolutely made my day!
vienna teng ive missed the music welcome back🥺
You cooked with this one! I've been waiting for a song like this since Aims! I love it!
Thank you for this. Can't stop listening to the first two songs since I've noticed you've gifted us new music again. Didn't know it, but I kind of really need this song somehow.
So glad it found you 💜
Overall, the song is great, but what I really noticed in the video was how beautiful the movement of the dancers was. ❤
They were really remarkable. I kept wondering if they'd be bored learning such small, almost banal movements, but they said they loved doing this kind of thing.
@@viennateng It's the small movements and coordination that make it fascinating, like the precision of a Swiss watch. Loved the song!
So beautiful, both the song and the video
I watched it 3 times -- from beginning to end -- absolutely beautiful!
This song always makes me emotional 🥲 and the video is beautiful. Thank you so much for this!
Such a beautiful song and video, I can't wait for Spark and Comfort to come together 😎😊
Perfeito! ✨💖 Seus trabalhos continuam belos. 🇧🇷
So good 💔❤️🩹♥️
Glorious

I was getting quite hungry there at the end ;)
So glad it resonated! (And I got plenty hungry during the shoot, so I know what you mean :)
Wow. What a cool video! (And a beautiful song!)
Very beautiful, I cried.
A really wonderful song and video - thank you. And very interesting and different visually, from the origami fruit to the brief shot of bare feet on the kitchen floor.
Cool vid!
Is that VT's real daughter at the end? Lovely song!
Indeed, and her real dad too! You may recognize him from the video for "Level Up" (acting very out of real-life character ;) ua-cam.com/video/U4n_8R5lKnw/v-deo.html
Will spark and comfort join on Election Day?
It would have been quite a choice to do that! Since the music industry shifted new releases to Friday, the mashup will be released sooner. But all three tracks will be ready for anyone who needs them the week after.
I love the fact that there is no meat in sight for this meal. Very touching video. Thanks, Vienna!
