  • Infinity Dadonator XL woodworking dado blade review and performance test in cabinet grade plywood and hardwood. Tested on a Sawstop 3hp PCS as well as underpowered hybrid saws. The all new Dadonator XL touts some pretty impressive features, but does it live of to the hype? Check out the video for the details on tooth geometry, and why hook angle and tooth count is so important for a premium dado set. Some call it a dado stack for woodworkers, but whether you refer to it as a dado head, dado stack, dado set, or dado blade / blades, it's a premium table saw accessory by any name. It's not your grandad's wobble blade that's for sure. Be sure to check out my other dado blade reviews. If you're all in on the new Infinity set, find more info and order yours here...

I finally got them after 6 months. And they look completely different than what you have or what was shown in the catalog. The entire blade set is plated. I'm not sure if this is going to effect the performance of the blades as I have not had the chance to test it yet. I would have preferred the raw machined finish as shown.

That's funny, I always wished mine were plated! Probably better for long term rust prevention. Anyway, glad you got the blades and hope you like them.

I ordered this blade set back in October and it still is not back in stock. The site now says March. That means 5 months to get this blade set. Terrible shipping delays that in my opinion are unacceptable. But I've waited this long so I'll continue to wait. This had better be the best set I've ever had after waiting this amount of time. I have ordered many things from infinity in the past and never had a delay like this.

This is an exceptional case. Long shipping delays for sure. I just used a Forrest dado king this week, and was shocked at the difference. I'm so used to the flat cuts of my Dadonator XL, it's hard to go back. Good luck and sorry for the shipping woes.

Still no blades since I ordered them in October, it's now the end of March. Every month they push it out another month. Now they say end of April, that's 6 months.
Terrible order fulfillment, they still list these blades for sale and they don't even have them.

Yep, I'm aware of the issue with this blade set. Luckily it's not a company wide thing. I have a lot of crappy dado blades, so I still say it's worth the wait, but everybody needs to make their own decision. Best.

Just so it is clear, they are made in Italy, not cheaply. My guess is infinity has freud make them. I have yet to test em yet and will revisit this afterwards if i remember.

A lot of assumptions here. I'm not sure any of that is true.

@@TheThoughtfulWoodworker so they just laser engrave "Made in Italy" on the blade to throw me off and it is really made in China?
