My family did burn pillars back in the day..and I used to burn Pier One pillars in the 1990s. I never recall ever really being able to smell any of them unless you stood next to them. Pillars could make a comeback I suppose, as they obviously don’t require glass containers..with supply issues these day.

I wish they'd bring back Hollyberry! I describe it as a nostalgic smell when little me would open my Grandma's Christmas decor boxes. She had holiday pillars that she never burned. And year after year, when we'd decorate, I'd get this wonderful scent the moment I'd open the boxes. It's not cinnamon, it's not pine, but a warm, cozy, homey scent.

The label on White Christmas is so beautiful ----it almost makes me cry---and I don't know why! I've never had an attachment to any other label. So many are pretty, but none draw me in like White Christmas. Thank goodness I love the scent as well, although I can't bring myself to burn it. It has become a special decoration I bring out every year.

Love your videos. Does anyone know where to buy Bayberry candles? So hard to find.

Thank you and great question. The only place I’ve consistently seen them over the past several years is Old Sturbridge Village (Sturbridge, MA). They may be able to do a mail order. Also, check in with Yankee Candle Village. They used to always have in-house made bay berries, but they may have cut back; they were out in October and several of the staff members had no idea what I was talking about. 👍
