Preaching to the converted here as I'm a big fan of both Satie and your playing. I used to play all of the Gymnopedies (and 1 Gnoissienne) on classical guitar.
Thank you David....It did not surprise me that other people have arranged this for Ukulele. According to the BBC it is the most popular classical piece..... I was not aware of that!
I use an AKG C1000s for recording into a computer. No experience of the fishman amp but I believe it to be very good. I have a little Yamaha THR5A which is very nice!
