Rules of grapheme 'Th'
Generally the sounds of Th are two types
Namely Voiced formed by vibration and unvoiced formed by without vibration
#Rule 1)
If Th is in the begining, it is usually Voiceless
e.g:thin, three, throat
also if th is before a consonant then also it is a voiceless sound
e.g:thrash

If Th is in between the vowels is Voiced
e.g:mother, brother, weather

The spelling rules of digraph Th
Th produces two kind of sound voiceless and voiced. In case of voiceless there is no vibration in voice box and in case of voiced we feel vibration.
1. When Th comes at the beginning then the sound is voiceless.
Ex: thought, thumb, threw
2. When Th comes in between the letter the sound is voiced.
Ex: father, bother, smothered
3. Whenever Th comes at the end then sound is voiceless.
Ex: both, oath, smooth
4. If Th followed by e then sound is voiced.
Ex: clothe, bathe, breathe
5. Some words are exceptional like this, that, these, those etc which gives voiced sound even th comes in the beginning.

The grapheme " Th " has two phonemes.
1) Th (voice ) as in That, these, with etc
2) Th (voiceless) as in Thin, myth, Thank, Think etc.
Voiced "Th": which is made by placing the tip of the tongue btw our teeth and vibrating our vocal cords.
Voiceless: "Th" which is made by placing the tip of the tongue between teeth and blowing the air out.
Rules of "Th" :
1) when "Th" is at the beginning of the word is usually voiceless
E.g: Thin, thumb, three, thrust etc
2) when "Th" is between two vowels is usually voiced.
