Napansin ko lang sa Batanes, bukod sa maganda ang lahat ng views, malinis, at maulan, andaming gwapo na tourists na Pinoy. Dami ko nang napuntahan na lugar sa Pilipinas, nagdagsaan mga Pinoy na gwapo dito sa Batanes...lol

Makes me missed you more Batanes, the Best place i’ve visited in North Luzon. Yung parang ayaw muna talaga bumalik sa Mainland after the last day of your tour. The Local, Sobrang mababait as in sila na mismo ang mag greet sayo. Everywhere is safe, so peaceful, napaka simple ng buhay. Parang sarap i spend ang retirement sa Batanes kaso mejo mahal lang mamuhay kung wala ka sariling place haha, yun lang. Overall, Batanes is Majestic!
Correction. The island Drew pointed is not Y'ami island but DI'NEM island. And the northernmost island is not Y'ami but MAVUDIS island as told by an Atenean grad Ivatan

Older Batan natives was also called the island Dihami, meaning "north" in Ivatan. By some members of the Spanish colonial government it was called Diami, and it is known as Yami or Y'Ami on most American Colonial Era maps of the Philippines.
Correction: yung tunuro ni drew na isla na tinawag nyang 'yami island', di po totoo yun. I think its English name is Diego Island, but for us(itbayat) local called it Di'nem island.

A suggestion para hindi malipul (extinct) ang coconut crab: Huwag kukuhanin and mga babae, lalo na and mayroong puga (eggs). Ganito and ginagawa sa Dungenes crab sa America kaya hindi iyon nauubos.
Napakalaki ang multa kapag humuli ka ng bawal na Dungenes crabs (per crab ang multa).

The northernmost island in the Philippines is Amianan Island and not Mavudis Island. Just look in google map or any other map.
