I really don't miss the 1st round pick. Everyone we drafted looks solid. Similar to last year. Getting Big Thanos made up for last year's 1st round for me. Hopefully, one of these young men will prove to be a future star.

Draft didn't go as I wanted...and it hurt a little more seeing the Texans grab Cade Stover. I do think we got some solid guys despite the fact that they didn't seem to fill needs at all. 😅
Don't miss first round picks? 😂. Spoken like a true homer. There are SO many great players we've missed out on the last 3 drafts because they had to have Watson, so just stop

After all the FA signings and the players still under contract there's only a couple spots open for draft picks/UDFAs. Those that can and are willing to play special teams will have a leg up on everyone else.
It is really hard for an undrafted free agent to make the roster, but the Browns usually has one guy to defy the odds to make the roster. Last year it was Ronnie Hickman and Mohamoud Diabate, and the year before that it was D'Athony Bell, and the year before Bell it was A.J. Green. Hopefully one of these guys are good enough to make the roster, but I think it will be much harder this year because there are less holes on the roster.

Foreman was a backup when he was signed and Ford didn't exactly light it up so I don't see why Robbins with a good camp and preseason can very well take a RB spot on this team,perhaps a Hunt replacement

Now that the D Watson trade is complete, what would your grade for the trade be as of today? Wonder if Petey will cover this on an upcoming show or segment?
I think a fair and accurate grade can be given after 2024
There is really very little difference between the draft picks the Browns made high up in the draft and these un-drafted guys. So, yes, there is a good chance a couple of them could crack the roster.
Cohen was a guy they brought in for their top 30 I believe, so you know they like him. I think he has the best chance to stick on the practice squad to develop.
If Cohen goes to practice squad someone will grab him.

Listen guys, here is a little advice from an insider. I m a Miss. State fan and our LB Duo Watson & Jett Johnson had 700+ tackles in the past 3 years. Bring Johnson in and guys trust me you will have a lot of fun ! Wannabe 1st rounder Dallas Turner never could sniff on this numbers.

@@nicholasgeezy1329 A 20 yo project DT is not the answer to any pressing need. LT, LB, TE, WR and RB all much more pressing. As in, affecting THIS season. There were really good RBs and TE's on board, and a couple of good LB's when we were on the clock in Rd 2 that would have boosted the team immediately. And par for the course, they went a head-scratching way and did nothing to help the 2023 team.

@@moehioif the team can stay healthy then they don’t need much more than they had last year. If the defense plays like it did last year and the offense can click with Watson, then the Browns have themselves a Super Bowl team.
1st round picks are overrated i dont know why fans keep on complaining. For 30 years we complained and we had 2-3 1st round picks and couldnt win shi+. Now we building with free agents and paid DW4 look at the quality coaches we have now Staley Dorsey Stefanski Swartz Ventrone Vrabel all are elite coaches. Along with vets like Obo Zedarius Tomlinson Hicks Shelby Harris etc werent coming to Cleveland until we got a franchise qb. The browns had to become relevant. Yall may hate DW4 but his nfl peers sure believe in him. 😂

Just because we used to make terrible draft picks and pass on great players in the 1st round doesn't mean 1st round picks don't have great value.
