This is so true going to the blessed sacrament helped me overcome my depression from the death of my mom. I find so much peace in front of it and every first Friday I started to participate in the night adoration at my parish I recommend it

Every time I look at my Eucharistic Lord in the monstrance I think of the words of Paul in 1 Cor. 13:12 "We see now through a glass in a dark manner, but then face to face". I always imagine Paul looking through the glass of the monstrance, peering at our Lord, knowing that one day he will see Him face to face
I am happy to stumble into this channel and as l watched the video and I became more inspired I adore Jesus in the Tabernacle every Friday in my local church since the year 2010. Jesus is lifting me up spiritually. Praise the Lord!

Since my 2nd child started CCD, I knew I had to make that time for me and Jesus as well. I had seen through my Parish website that A Weekly Permanent Adorer was a thing, but sometimes I don't take initiative to do things. But one day in the Blessed Sacrament the ministry head approached me to do it and of course I said yes! Many times you need inspiration and someone to invite you to do things (like when I also said yes to joining the Women's Group at church. God keeps leading me, and you keep inspiring us all. I do different things in there, but I am glad you gave us an outline and especially the best way to start the Holy Hour. Thank you! I hope to go more for this lent! I love planning your day with the Lord!
For those who cannot get to adoration for any number of reasons you should try live adoration on youtube or Savior.org. It does count. Don't put limits on God because this is such an avenue of grace. Try it for even a week, once everyday. Do your prayer times in front of it. It is like face timing Jesus.

I love going to Eucharistic Adoration but can't always get there. Also, last week when I was in Adoration, I was crying because I was having difficulties in life, and I was crying so hard that I ended up leaving after just half an hour.

I love adoration but my divided and lukewarm parish doesnt have it regularly- its really discouraging to me in a time when i just got off mood stabilizers and am going through a transition from college to real life my fiancé (the closest friend I have) is away from me and my grammy is dying- though i was despairing and the devil was mentally attacking me relentlessly before i was going to daily mass and praying the entire rosary so our blessed mother in protecting me- pray for me and my parish that we’d be healed

Thank you for this message. I visit my chaple where I live twice a week and yes I need it. I never want to leave when my hour is up. There is a peace that comes over me.The Rosary has helped me in many areas of my life, I only say it once a day and I know it should be more, but there are the poor and forgotten [elderly] that needs my attention. At the end of the day I'm tired and wonder if there was more I could have done. I don't like to meditate on the Sorrowful mysteries because I always tear up, I realize what Jesus did for me and there is no way I could ever repay him. I thank him constantly to the point that I expect him to say to me 'enough' or 'move on'. Bless you Father for your devotion to our Lord and his Mother.

How do I go? I have 4 children and am all alone. Noone to watch them ever. My Husband was in korea for 16 months and now he's gone all the time we see him 4 times a year. All family in another state. All alone always. Terrible marriage problems. Need God. I can only go to latin mass once a month. I need holy hour but God wont give me opportunity to go. Pray for me
I will pray for you. One thing I do when I simply can't get away... is I go to youtube that has live Eucharistic adoration and I have it up full screen on my computer. This is not the same and should never be a substitute, but it is better than nothing and I do find it helps me when I can't leave the office. God bless you my sister. I remember the days when my children were small, my husband was working long hours, and our families lived far away. It was the most stressful time in my life. One thing that helped was finding a group of other moms to meet with weekly. Are you a member of a nearby Catholic parish? It does not have to be Latin mass only. Ask some ladies at the parish (in the office, nursery, gift shop, etc) if they can connect you with a few other mothers of young children. Sometimes there are small "moms of faith groups" in the parish who meet regularly at each other's homes for faith sharing and social time, bringing their children with them. That way, you could make friends and exchange babysitting so you could go to adoration. If there is not yet a group like that, place an ad in the church bulletin to start one. Then you will have other moms contacting you. I will pray for you and I will offer my next holy hour for you, that you may soon find quiet time alone in the presence of our Lord Jesus. May God comfort you, strengthen your marriage, and bless your family in the coming year. God love you. 💓🙏💕

My husband was stationed in a bad area and to remedy this I thought to move in the country on some acreage but now I regret it, and even the children are lonely. I also homeschool. Just been me and the kids for so long. Noone else. We are very lonely. And no family or friends.

You’re right. When I go to the blessed Eucharist, my intuition expands as I meditate in my own thoughts with Him. My psychic hearing grows.

I will pray for you. One thing I do when I simply can't get away... is I go to youtube that has live Eucharistic adoration and I have it up full screen on my computer. This is not the same and should never be a substitute, but it is better than nothing and I do find it helps me when I can't leave the office. God bless you my sister. I remember the days when my children were small, my husband was working long hours, and our families lived far away. It was the most stressful time in my life. One thing that helped was finding a group of other moms to meet with weekly. Are you a member of a nearby Catholic parish? It does not have to be Latin mass only. Ask some ladies at the parish (in the office, nursery, gift shop, etc) if they can connect you with a few other mothers of young children. Sometimes there are small "moms of faith groups" in the parish who meet regularly at each other's homes for faith sharing and social time, bringing their children with them. That way, you could make friends and exchange babysitting so you could go to adoration. If there is not yet a group like that, place an ad in the church bulletin to start one. Then you will have other moms contacting you.

@@AnnInFL thank you so much you are so sweet I'll look to see if there is something like that I live in a small rustic town and the parish is small there isn't even a bulletin. My husband was stationed in a bad area and to remedy this I thought to move in the country on some acreage but now I regret it, and even the children are lonely. I also homeschool. Just been me and the kids for so long. Noone else. We are very lonely. And no family or friends.
