When you view this through the lens of getting out of an abusive relationship with a Narcissist, it is eerily accurate.
This song was shared in fb group about narcissistic abuse. I dont like country, but felt every part of these lyrics resonate from my most recent relationship.
Breaking up with someone and moving on is not narcissistic abuse. Whining about it and making it public because you got dumped sounds more like abuse to me.
@@spankynater4242 pretty sure life threats, hitting, and stalking fall under abuse. I would've preferred getting dumped over the restraining order I had to file. If you're that uncomfortable with domestic abuse awareness, you're definitely part of the problem.

This song makes me think of the girl that I love so dearly. She's in love with another man, a man who used to work with us and is married and was always hitting on the girls we worked with as well as always being on dating apps. The guy that they're referring to in this song reminds me a lot of the person she is in love with and the song is definitely nailing all of the stuff she's emulating right now. The only thing is that she as the "next girl" doesn't want to hear any of it, and will unfortunately have to learn the hard way, and that is so hard for me to watch. Love this song, btw!

I feel this down to my core. Two months ago I found out my now ex bf was cheating. We broke up and I found out a few nights ago that he’s marrying her. The same man that claimed to love me and never leave, two months ago. She feels like she’s won because she gets him, but it’s gonna be her biggest loss. Settling for someone like him.
