Was a mechanic on the 37 in Germany 69-70. 4th aviation. There was a sign near the hanger that said last Mohaves. Ch47 took there place. I remember when they come in. They made a big celebration of it. I thought it was sad. I sure liked old Buf.
Ive been wondering when someone is going to get a Mojave going, but its a big project and Im sure theres not an abundance of serviceable parts available for the aircraft, unless rotor blades and other life limited parts are shared by different models.

Beautiful machine. Awesome piece of history... Just the Huey main rotor as soundtrack lol....
I would love the opportunity to fly one.
