Was at this show. In my top 5 ever. They blew Shudder off the Stage and StT was in their hometown headlining. People were yelling "Sunny Day!" All through Shudder's set.
I can never stop wondering how Jeremy's (excellent) solo stuff might have sounded if played/written during this intense pre-breakup time. Perhaps he gave the songs on "Return......" a better service the way he did them with the orchestra, etc.
Kneill Ryan yeah i think it's at the end of the last song 'sometimes'; jeremy seems to start ranting off before the rest of the guys in the band try drowning jeremy out with feedback and drums lol
@@Ethan-yz6tj they had already decided to break up before this show, they just had to finish the shows and make LP2 because of tour and label obligations that they needed to see through before they could separate. this is why much of LP2 is without lyrics, they just wanted to do it as quickly as possible because they didn't want to make it, they had to make it because of their contract with Sub Pop.

This might be the show Grohl saw and then left a note for Will to call him
i wonder if the jesus rant is captured in this video.

What is he singing? I can't understand
What is “the Jesus rant”
Dave Grohl was there
so is that why they broke up? the drummer and bass player went to go play for the foo fighters.
No, the band were already falling apart at that stage. Dave invited them to join the foo fighters after he heard they split up.

As was I. Both nights.
J'nuh must've been ta new song for them at this time, the lyrics aren't the same. I think that is the song he runs his mouth on.
