Ohuhu for the win. Although both renderings look nice, I really like the smoothness of the Ohuhu side.

I have both. I use crayolas in my mixed media sketchbook because they’re water based and they don’t bleed through. Then ohuhu’s I use in my bristol sketchbook or for finished pieces. That lime green crayola marker is so great, the colour 👌👌

The Crayola blending pens don't really 'blend' that great, but they are great for laying out flat colors
The Ohuhu are such a clear winner - the blending and colours are all so soft and buttery smooth, but man. There is something really endearing about how vibrant the Crayola markers are. Especially on the hair - your choice to go with so many greens instead of just one really showed the markers' colours off so well.
I like the ohuhu one better but the hair on the crayola side I really like
Also put a bit of water on dry crayola markers with make it not dry anymore sometimes but you have to wait a while before you use the markers after that

And maybe store them horizontally like the alcohol markers
You can also put rubbing alcohol in it to make it better
You can also put the marker (capless) into a cup of warm water.
I love these comparisons, I like the Ohuhu side more, I like the vibrant of Crayola tho. I adored the way you worked on both pieces. Might I suggest to use layers on the Ohuhu/all markers for future use ones and also using a circular motion to equally distribute the ink from the marker to lessen the streaking. Keep up the good work I enjoyed it and your voice.

Pulling the marker off the paper for each stroke is what you honestly don’t want to do. Keep the marker on the paper as much as possible until the area you’re working on is done. This will also keep you from tearing your paper as you’re keeping the ink slightly wet which smoothes it out and if you work a quickly it can also let you blend with two similar colors
Ah i love these comparison vids. I feel bad cuz I've been neglecting my ohuhu markers. I mean i only have the 40 count and my bf says i can't buy more till i learn how to use them better sigh. Great video tho😋😄

with crayola it's best for large areas to use the side and avoid going over a stroke you made, that's probably one of the best ways to avoid streaking
Personally crayola looks bomb. Copic are a bit smoother but ( just incase u didn't know crayola markers are water based so it would be much smoother if u blended it out with water) my personal opinion
If you use color pencils the go over with markers then it looks my smoother

If you were impressed with Crayola markers on card stock, you should see what they look like on X-Press It Blending Card. I needed some heavy paper for my son the other day, and sacrificed two sheets. It looked awesome. Maybe I should give this kind of comparison a try with my Copics. I should really upload something 😬
That neon green Crayola is really pretty.
Honestly I like the Ohuhu colors for the torso, face, and shirt over Crayola, but the Crayola in the hair over the Ohuhu's.

Seeing you use ohuhu markers in most of your videos make me want to give them a try!
At the moment, i only use promarkers, touch lit and copic (I literally only own 4 of them tho💀)

I just LOVE your art style!
I noticed Crayola is brighter, but skin tone streaky. Ohuhu pulled off the smoothness. So far, the different videos of other channels also show Crayola as brighter. I noticed that while I was doing an art project a couple weeks back. I thought it was just because my alcohol markers were really cheap. 🤗❤️👍🏽💯

No it was a white window marker used for literally writing things in white marker.

Yay!! Purrrdaaahhhh!! I kinda use markers like these like water color pens. To bad they start to eat the paper ..even watercolor paper >.> I used to do this when I was younger lolzz !!!
Both are amazing and I love the vibrancy of Crayola! But I have to go with ohuhu since they are alcohol based and they blend better but I actually use water based and alcohol based markers so work with what you have :D
I really like the skin on the alcohol based, but the hair on Crayola is much more vibrant and detailed

Don't throw away dried water based markers - just eyedrop some water into them and wait for a day or two and they will be working like before.

The thing with any water based markers is you cant go over one spot twice or else it streaks. I used to play with crayola all the time and learned to avoid overlapping at all costs 😤
I'm getting my first ohuhu soon and I was watching videos about water based markers.. I am so glad to know water based universally peels the paper because I thought the ones I had were just dirt cheap or I was doing something wrong.
