You guys are too funny I chuckled the minute he was commentating on your outfit and then…the grey purse word came out. Oh Mr. Canuck it’s blue as it has been the whole time😆
That Musical Tea was just beautiful! Loved the waiters coming down the stairway with the trays- just elegant! Also think the Llamas/Alpacas are sooo cute. Can you buy those in the gift shop!?! 😂
We would have paid double that - and they likely could charge more as is sells out well before the cruise. We’ve seen a beach chair and umbrella go for double that - and you can’t eat those. 😂
As a Brit living in the US I've been enjoying your videos of this Caribbean cruise, British style. I may consider booking just for the fact they have proper Cadbury chocolate in the gift shop!! Scott
So pleased you are enjoying your Marella cruise. We were on Discovery2 in the Caribbean in February and really enjoyed the Musical afternoon tea and were lucky to have Dem Boyz as part of the entertainment and they really know how to get the party going.
The musical tea was definitely a highlight of the cruise for us.So happy that we were able to give it a try. Dem Boyz are amazing entertainers and we agree they sure know how to get the crowd involved. It was great fun. 🎉
Love Marella cruises..Have sailed with other lines but value for money Marella wins hands down..just one thing to add its English measures for the drinks and as Irish passengers we need to order doubles😂
Great videos, having cruised out of Miami with MSC, I was shocked at how much gambling was going on - the reverse of your experience - must be a cultural thing, we prefer drinking!
Wow, that was the best tea time I've ever seen on any ship. Thanks for sharing it (although you have shown us videos of the food served, you didn't share the actual food with us)! There is a diner in NYC called ELLEN'S STARDUST DINER which has Broadway/Broadway wanna be's singing and dancing on the tables during the time one eats their food there, performing what else? Broadway songs! PS Mr. Canuck, the language your lama (or really alpaca) talks is called "Rama Lama Ding Dong." Glad you had an awesome cruise despite your trepidations before time.
❤️😂Lol. We did have a great cruise. It was a lot of new things that we haven't experienced before like the Musical Teatime. Thanks for the mention of the diner. Hope to try it out sometime.🫖
Had to giggle over the reaction over the bacon in a roll, its a british thing, we just have bacon rolls or sandwiches, with nothing else, well maybe some HP sauce or ketchup :D
Once you get it straightened out with Marella, you have a window of opportunity to be the exclusive Marella booking agency for North America, how wonderful is that? Keep up the great work and "Keep On Cruising." What a wonderful logo you can use at the end of your videos.
Our goal would be to empower and insure that people can book Marella freely themselves or through their own travel agent choice. We enjoy the cruise experience first and foremost.
You two are sooooo entertaining. But very informative. My wife and I love watching your Vlogs. We are intending to go on a caribbean cruise next year, on the Marrella Voyager. Do you intend to try out that ship? Looking forward to your next Vlog and Thank you for entertaining us.
Thank you for watching our channel. We absolutely loved our first Marella experience and are trying to book our next adventure with them. Fingers crossed we might just be on another Marella cruise sooner than later. 🚢😉
We have never had one confiscated. Sometimes the cabin steward has unplugged ours. Cruise lines want you to use one that doesn't have a breaker switch on it.🔌
The musical high tea seemed verry nice! 😋😋 I have looked up how a lama sounds, if you do this....turn your sound down. I don,t think any human can make this sound. 🤣😂 Found letter number 4 but i had to really look for it! Have a great life everyone.
We found out on the last day that they are Alpacas. After we referred to them as IIamas all week!lol🦙 They only move the pink one around the ship and dock side is what we noticed.
We definitely didn't book this cruise for the port stops. We were just happy to try a new to us cruise line that we have heard so many good things about. ❤️
Hi, how come you didn't book a Marella cruise online through a local British Travel Agency? This would negate the requirement to pay through Play Pal and perhaps have an easier guaranteed booking.
We did talk to a British travel agent and we didn't for two reasons. First was that Marella offered no commission to booking agents on cruise only fares. Second, was that we would have had to have done a cash transfer to the travel agency and we'd prefer to book through our credit cards to get the health and travel insurance provided when you use the cards.
Hello! I have been enjoying ALL of your blogs from Scotland to France and St Kitts. I think I have a solution to the “secret word”. How can I submit my guess without spoiling it for others? Elise
Please submit your secret word guess at secret@cruisingcanucks..ca You need to submit the word and where in each video you found each letter. Thanks for following along.🥰
As a Canadian, I am having a terrible time trying to book on Marella, they say I need a UK address but I don't have one. Oh well, Holland America here I come.
We are very confused right now. We were just trying to book a Marella cruise last night and we were unable to do so. However, we did successfully book the Discovery in May without an UK address. We just sent a message to the Marella team to try and get some clarification.
We just tested an American address in trying to book Marella and it worked perfectly - but you'd need to use Paypal, since North American credit cards won't work. Right in the booking information requested it asks for Nationality and isn't restricted to the UK. The part of their site to book 'Cruise Only' currently has an error that crashes the booking, we've let them know and hopefully it's fixed soon.
@@CruisingCanucks I don't have an American address nor do I use PayPal. I lived and travelled all over Europe and England, I always use my Visa/Mastercard no problem. Perhaps there is a problem with Marella?
@@jacobcatstraat690 We have also travelled all over Europe and England using our Canadian Credit cards. It is a problem with booking with Marella that MC/Visa cards must have a UK address. We used the Paypal (which basically just directly charges our credit card) option offered by Marella's website to overcome that hiccup.
If you ever get it rectified with Marella, make sure it is foolproof before publishing it on a video. If it is not foolproof you will only be adding to the confusion and aggravation. Put it our RIGHT the First time. Thank you

That Musical Tea was just beautiful! Loved the waiters coming down the stairway with the trays- just elegant! Also think the Llamas/Alpacas are sooo cute. Can you buy those in the gift shop!?! 😂
The Musical Tea was fantastic. I wish they had smaller Alpacas in the gift shop. 🦙
Hi Jill and Jerry great video and Musical Tea , It looks like the ship is beautiful. Glad your had a great time . Now look forward to Alaska.
Thanks, we are definitely getting excited for Alaska! HAL’s teatime is probably going to be a disappointment after Marella.🛳
Great vlog, afternoon tea looked great especially with the piano playing.
It was everything we hope for and more. Highly recommend.🫖
LOVE LOVE the musical tea! Food looked so lovely. I know you just loved that experience!
But the Musical Tea didn't come cheap. I thought it was all inclusive?
It was the highlight of our cruise. We would definitely do it again. We loved it!❤️
We would have paid double that - and they likely could charge more as is sells out well before the cruise. We’ve seen a beach chair and umbrella go for double that - and you can’t eat those. 😂
So glad you both are having a wonderful time. Thanks for the video.
We had an excellent time. Can’t wait to cruise Marella again!🛳
So unexpected the sounds of llama video. Wow
lol😀
I have to say that was a very cute placement for the block.
Thanks, Glad you saw it.🔍
My husband and i enjoy everyone of tour videos Mr Canuks is very funny and Mrs Canucks dresses very nice we're waiting for day 5 😊
Thank you so much. Day 5 will be coming out Friday.😉

What a fun sea day! Tea time looked sooo good! Loved your dresses, Jill. Happy cruising!

Thanks for the recommendation. 😊

We had a wonderful time on our first ever Marella Ship. We will definitely be trying to to book another one.🥰
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing your vacations :) Jill, where do you get your cute dresses?
Thanks for watching. Mrs.Canuck is always on the lookout for new dresses. Some favourite spots are Winners, T.J. Maxx, Ross and online.👗
Great videos, having cruised out of Miami with MSC, I was shocked at how much gambling was going on - the reverse of your experience - must be a cultural thing, we prefer drinking!
We are always surprised how busy the casinos are. We don’t use them, so the one on Marella was perfect size for us!
Loved the tea time. I would really enjoy that 😊. The phantom masks on the dessert, so cute.
It's so good! We recommend everyone experiencing teatime like that at least once! 🫖
If you spot a room steward around they will give you a dry pool towel - we’ve done that before.
Good suggestion.
I’m with Jerry and have learned to love sea days. They’re so relaxing. That’s another reason I just booked two 10 day cruises, four sea days! 🍺🚢

Off topic here but what kind of power strip do you use on cruises? Want to make sure one I choose won't get confiscated! Have you had any issues?

When in Napier, New Zealand go to the Cadbury factory 😊

If you are ever cruising through South America buy a alpaca wool blanket not a llama one.
Much softer.
Sounds like a lovely cruise ship but, not sure about hitting the Florida ports

You as a travel agent should look into specializing on booking Marella cruises for North Americans. Might be a good niche!

Yes, the tea was a 15 pound up charge for each person.

We agree! Definitely would suggest take they add a towel station somewhere on the lido deck.
Sorry but it’s jam then cream on scones please, it’s the Cornish way 😊
