@@giomassa17kk That’s exactly Princess Peach’s point. Amy does not have anything going for her other than her obsession with Sonic. Take that away from Amy and she is essentially useless as a character.
Peach, on the other hand, has proven time and time again that she really doesn’t need Mario’s acknowledgement. This is particularly shown in the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series where Peach is shown to be quite independent to the point that she’s able to essentially rescue herself (See Thousand Year Door in particular).
@@TequilaMockingBird91 that's not true at all. Amy is so much more than just being in love with Sonic. She's a caring and sweet person who will do so much for you without expecting something in return, she's a character that follows her heart and also a leader as you can see with things like the IDW comics. She's not a damsel in distress and can clearly take care of herself.
Easily top 5 Sonic characters imo, she had her bad portrayals but so has every other character in the Sonic franchise.
has anyone noticed how Peach kind of sounds like Cream? Amy can be annoying and overbearing at times, but she should have won. Peach has a high capture rate, while Amy has only been captured a few times... Anyway, great animation!

Eh I agree and disagree. It depends on which version of Amy we’re talking about. On this show yes. I disagree with people about Amy on Sonic X. She was not that bad in that show. She had a few times where I agree she was in the wrong but she wasn’t as crazy like she was in like sonic riders for example. She wasn’t following sonic around all the time and she wasn’t demanding marriage. Also sonic clearly gave her mixed signals at times in that show. That’s my opinion. Also I think she’s been improving a lot in recent versions like IDW comics and boom.
