- In this video, I count down what I find to be the ten hardest normal missions in A Hat In Time. This was a difficult video to make, but it was certainly fun as well.
All music used is from the game and belongs to Gears For Breakfast and Pascal Michael Stiefel.

This was really interesting, and god im glad im not the only one who struggled with deep-sea. I’m surprised snatchers fight didn’t rank at all though! I always found his fight to be the toughest of the base game bosses.
Also id love to see your thoughts on a top 10 hardest death wishes!!

Sorry, but I just have to point out that in Award Ceremony that is not award 42. Award 42 was the one that the Conductor lost and why he wants the time piece to go back and claim the award. Sorry but I'm a nerd who was played this game way too many times.
I’ve also played this game way too many times😭 I’m currently doing death wish for the fourth time
My personal picks for the best & worst missions in AHIT per chapter:
*Chapter 1 Welcome to Mafia town*
*Best:* The Golden Vault - Sure you can just touch the vault each time to find the ticket locations but MAN is the music fun to listen to! If I ever go back to chapter 1 to grab yarn, tokens or relics I usually pick mission 7!
*Worst:* Cheating the race - I love the time stop hat but this mission ends very quickly and feels like a pointless addition to the game. Sure it show that the hat does slow down time enough that even a speedy enemy will slow to a crawl but man... this is boring!
*Chapter 2: Battle of the birds*
*Best:* Award Ceremony (the proper one, not the tiny bit) - Intense, fun platforming with some really awesome music! It was a VERY close race between this and Dead Bird Studio!
*Worst:* The Big Parade - So you know how you jump from area to area, having fun taking your time just to soak in the atmosphere? Well how about we slightly screw with the physics, add in 7 owls with musical instruments and force more and more stress upon the player. Yeah this took a few tries the first time I reached this mission... =_=
*Chapter 3: Subcon Forest*
*Best:* Sleepy Subcon - Calm, beautiful music with some gorgeous visuals. Instead of making it overly spooky, they went full-on serene and tranquil with this purple time rift. This was originally my favourite purple time rift prior to the DLC's (now it's 3rd).
*Worst* Village - Boooooriiiiing! Yeah Pipe is the far superior blue time rift of chapter 3 and whilst I'm not the biggest fan of this area, all the other missions have SOMETHING to pique my interest.
*Chapter 4: ALPINE SKYLINE!!!*
*Best:* The Old windmill - MASSIVE jumping challenge that only gets harder very gradually. The jaunty, somewhat whimsical music that just sets the mood well. Shame the mission is so god damn long but MAN it is fun to just slowly climb my way up this thing! ^w^
*Worst:* The Curly Tail Trail - I was SO close to putting the birdhouse here buuut I hate this blue time rift a little bit more. At the very least the burbhouse has birds so it's a little funny. This is just the invisible cats and nothing else. Heck if you know what you're doing you can avoid all of them by abusing the time stop hat.
*Chapter 5: Time's End*
*Best* T O U R ! ! ! - So you've tortured yourself through chapter 6. Unlocked Deep Sea. Slogged through that hell of a questionable level design. What's your reward? THE BEST MISSION IN THE WHOLE GAME! Tour is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Just a shame you need 55 time pieces to unlock it AFAIK so it HAS to be the final mission you play. Honestly though, it's well worth it revisiting ALL of the chapters in the game (outside of the 2 DLC ones) and just reliving old memories one last time. Thank you Tour.

Bro this is underrated as peck. This is really good, although one thing I would change. Swap number 1 and 2, although it may just be me, i had more trouble with deep sea.
Ship shape was only higher since luck is a decent factor for it, and you have to rush, but with deep sea the only luck happens if your timing isn’t great, and you can take as much time as you need.

Ship shape was anxiety inducing the entire time as i fumbled a lot as i was confused on the difference between red arrows and yellow arrows. So i was basically always about to fail for half of the level.
Edit: Mustached, hatless, hood-wearing, statue-posing, castle dwelling, ticket giving, PECK NECK!
The arrows didn’t help. They constantly shifted around and they ended up being a hinderance more than they help at all.

I just did Deep Sea. Took me many tries to do it, but with each attempt I got better at it and I remembered my arsenal. The Time Stop Hat becomes really useful in many parts (including killing the pesky owls in the second world). The trick is to collect every single golden Pon before the Lava world, because if you collect them all, you will have exactly 3 for the exit of the Lava World. And the Lava World is not too complicated if you just need the story book page. Just hook to the chain on the right, and be on your way - skipping the obstacles isn't too hard there. I found lava the easiest stage of them all, provided I didn't have to grab any golden pons there.
All of the hard levels are parts of DLCs. The main game is a lot easier. After all, you may not buy a DLC until you've gotten good at the game.

2- the bounty the empress puts on hat kid is 2 million
3- there is a mod that allows you to replay cutscenes
4- you get a sub

In my opinion the cruise level ones are the hardest ones expesuly the purple rift
first: PeckNeck.
second: Ship Shape? seriously? that level is easy as pie. yes, you need to be precise with your movements, but all of the objectives have more than enough time to complete and the best part is you only needing 18 objectives when things arent chaotic yet. i would put The Tour and its tricky platforming challenge. i remember how many times my ass was handed to me just because i didnt do the beginning jump of Subcon forest part right.
Tbh I did ship shape on my 2nd try where the deep sea made me turn on assist mode

The hardest level for me has got to be the big parade, and I freaking hate it with all my life. And it’s just too bad because the outfit you have is adorable, and I like the concept, I just hate the gameplay.
Big parade honestly isn’t too bad outside of more restrictions on where to go after you turn the pyrotechnics on. But if you don’t get hasty with your movements then the whole level is simple because of its somewhat rhythmic nature.
The footage keeps freezing and you have the game on low graphics settings along with the audio quality not bieng 100% but still the video was pretty fun
and i hope you fix these issues in the future and become something great
I don't know if I'm just good at platforming, (I don't think so) but I never actually struggled with the windmill. Peck neck.
Like I said, most of these entries aren’t actually hard, but the windmill is a lengthy enough platforming test to be considered for this list.
What about the seal the deal boss rush? That's literally impossible for me to do
