My family has always loved puzzles. When we were little, we were doing one with our grandmother. We couldn't find the last piece. After searching around the table, my sister showed she'd hidden it under her leg the whole time. She was about 5 yrs. old.

Oh, my goodness. I cried when I heard about Kayla and saw the highlights of the two of you just having fun doing everyday stuff. She'll be back, but it's hard anyway. I take care of my 11 month old and 4 1/2 year old grandsons while their parents are at work. I haven't seen them in three weeks, and I don't know when I'll get to see them. I knew it was best, but I cried a lot anyway. I look at pictures and videos everyday. We do video calls every other day. It helps a lot. I just had a birthday. I'm 63, but I cried like a big old baby (not in front of them). It's ok to be sad. This is a rough time. So many of us out here are thinking of you and praying for you. ♥️

OMG Jen that was a amazing video brought tears to my eyes with the memories. I know it's sad that Kayla has to be away for awhile, but she isn't leaving forever she will be back before you know it! I use to love putting puzzles together, when I was younger, I remember we would most always be missing a piece, We would do these at my grand parents, My grandma would lean over the table and when she stood up there would be at least 10 pieces on her , so we new if we were missing one she took it somewhere on her arm.

I don't deal with change well either. But like you said, its temporary and if you are able to Facetime with Kayla then I have found that has helped me when I cant see someone in person. I also love the idea of making stickers of Lemonade! I may have to do that with my dog!!

When we were young, my mom dried our clothes on a clothesline. One morning, my brother started screaming from the bathroom. My mom ran to him. A wasp was in his jeans. God bless you Jen. I have severe anxiety and you help me feel much better. I found you thanks to fathering autism.
I have a hard time disconnecting with certain people too. It's sad but you will get through it. Kayla will be back. Dig that helmet. It did look like the straps we're going against your ear. Maybe you can adapt it in time if it doesn't soften up. Well Jen another great video thank you so much for making my day brighter.

Oh Jen, and Kayla, my heart hurts for both of you. Its so hard to let go of our friends or staff. I have students with autism that I've worked with since they were in early education and now are in secondary education and I'm still with them. I miss them so much, and Kayla will miss you just as much. She will be back and it will be an amazing reunion.
