Although this review will seem overtly negative to some, this is the honesty I portray in every video review. I won't do this job if I couldn't say what I wanted to. Thanks for watching - Max

Say what you feel. People are free to disagree. I understand all of your points, I just think they kind of miss the point of buying this car. It is great at what it is intended to do, for the price. Although I may disagree with your conclusions, I did find your review helpful and I appreciate the time you put into it.

Frankly.....I hugely disagree. At Formula 1, Austin Texas, 2019 - we rented one.....and loved it....and bought one. It handles extremely well....like a race car - total confidence. V6 motor accelerates really well - even burns rubber. Your fuel mileage stats are WAY off - and reversed. We get 20.7 MPG with a mix of 50/50 backroad/highway driving.....that is with a V6, mind you. Yes, the new-tech stuff is very slightly behind.....very slightly. Wonderful car! Thanks to hit pieces like this - probably why we bought it way, way, below what it is really worth. 10 months now - zero problems. 2019 QX60.

I bought a 2020 Pure with 3600 miles on it, a dealer loaner in August, 2020, for a great price. The wife and I really like the car. It has good power, the CVT mimicks a conventional auto trans by holding gears as a conventional trans would (no rubber band effect), it gets every bit of the EPA stated mileage, it is smooth, quiet, roomy and comfortable. I'm 6'1", 205 lb and can sit comfortably in the third row. We took a road trip last February from here in Los Angeles to east Texas and it proved to be an excellent road car. Sure, the tech is a little outdated (no nav, carplay or android auto) but there are aftermarket modules that address those shortcomings for a few hundred dollars. I do not regret the purchase in any regard, especially when looking at the sky high prices of competing models.

This is not the best SUV in it's class, but it is an awesome used car bargain if you are a regular person who cares about value, comfort and practicality. Great looking front and side profile. Best SUV value for non car reviewing people who need comfortable ride to carry kids and be comfortable on road trips, USA highways with no real curves.

I was thinking that same thing. I am looking for a nice suv and ive seen the qx60 go for less than 24k used with really low miles. I am going to carmax to look at one in person.

    • @dankibler2331

Hell yes! I just purchased a 2019 pure with $16k miles for $32k and compared to the 2017 Acura MDX and the 2019 Toyota Highlander which both had more more then double the miles and did not drive nearly as nice (especially the Highlander) at almost the same price the QX60 is a no brainier. The MDX drove nice but I hated the way the transmission shifted off the line and the front seat room is tight for me at 6'3". This car was not even on my radar along with anything else from Infinity and it was a really pleasant surprise that will be replacing my 2011 Honda Pilot. Used lUX models with 20-25k miles can be easily found for half the sticker price which is great. Carmax.com has a lot of great options.

I owned a 2015 and just bought a 2020. As a used car this is the best option out there for the money. I was able to purchase a fully appointed Luxe / Sensory Package model with 55k miles for 30k. There is simply no other luxury crossover in this class that can match that. I looked at comparable Volvo XC90's but the Momentum feels way underpowered compared to this and the Inscription is going to be 5-10k more. Being in the antiques business I need cargo space and no other crossover, save the XC90 has the same volume. Sure, the cabin and electronics may be dated compared to say a BMW . . . but . . . you don't need a three day class to figure out how to use it. (We also have a new X3 which is very nice but far tooo overcrowded with tech.) I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a GREAT value on a fine luxury crossover. Put some running boards on it to lower the profile as well as roof racks and you'll have a VERY nice looking vehicle that feels VERY comfortable to drive. No, it's not sporty. That's not what you're buying this for anyway so . . . so what?

I was driving the 16 Qx6o Pure, it did not have all t he refinements of the LUXE QX60 buy I found it's handling and safety to be top notch. Problems sere minimal and gas mileage was in the 23 to 29 ranch. A good car!

So far it is a great used car option for me, got a 2019 Pure AWD and sure I was surprised by the absence of some features that I have on my 2014 Altima like remote engine start, lane departure and Navigation. I bought it for my wife who is always hauling the grand kids around, so the 3rd row seat is something she wanted and it is pretty decent. The AWD is pretty cool too, but since I got this vehicle for under 30k I'm not too distraught about it, most of them are going for $31k to $35k in my area.

I’ve owned one since 2017 . The media screen went out on the drivers head rest . That’s the only issue I’ve had with it . The power is adequate for a 3 row suv , the seats aren’t as comfortable as the seats in my Prius . Otherwise?? It’s a decent car .

I'm looking at a 2017 CX-9 vs 2016 QX60 in Dubai, both top specs, under 70000 kms, out of warranty. Price-wise CX-9 is equivalent 24K USD and QX-60 is 25.5 USD.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but as someone that is obligated to shine both bad and good... this review DOES NOT give the QX60 a balanced overview.
