Donovan Carrillo made history as the first Mexican figure skater to reach the free skate at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Carrillo, who hails from Zapopan, competed in the men's singles event and was also granted the honor of carrying his country's flag at the opening ceremony.

Su rutina se torno sobrada en momentos por el nervio evidente que traía de ser los olimpicos, requiere una terapia para controlar eso, lo que pudo ser una gran exhibición terminó no siendo su día, muy pese a que sin duda tiene una gran técnica y carisma, lo disfruta mucho, el ya esta para 10.
