Excellent! I’ve had really good success with my Match Pro Gen 1 and speak highly of it. Bushnell has corrected all the small details that I need to replace it with a Gen 2 on my 457. Thanks for the review man! Good stuff!
Great video, Bushnell does make good stuff. I'd like to add something that many may not agree with, and that is the Parallax knob. To me that Parallax Focus Knob IS THE MOST IMPORTANT knob on the whole scope! I don't care how good the glass is, or the turrets, or the zoom capability, if the parallax doesn't work perfectly then the scope isn't worth a damn. That's a "hidden in plain sight" feature of a scope that doesn't get much attention AT ALL. Parallax errors can cause even the most expensive scope to be worthless junk if they don't work well. A lot of people get caught up in the quality of the glass without stopping to VERIFY that the Parallax knob works correctly, and allows you to get the sharpest image that also eliminates the error. I've seen some nice scopes that don't provide a parallax free view while at the same time also being the sharpest image possible. What's the point of having great glass if you end up being out of focus just to eliminate Parallax errors.
Problem is Bushnell's Match Pro ED does not have great glass. That's why I made the multiple scope suggestions that have way better glass and turrets at the same price or even cheaper. The new Bushnell Match Pro ED image quality is decent up until around 24x then image quality noticeably starts to go south and also gets dark the other scopes I suggested have clearer and sharper image quality than Bushnell's on high magnification plus they all have superior turrets too.
@@commonsense5709 The Viridian website has no mention of "German Schott Glass", it just says "German glass". I would think that would be a major selling point that they'd like to point out. I sorta wanna believe you, but you've added comments to SO MANY post here it's a bit off putting. I can't tell if you work for Optics Planet, or if you hate Bushnell, or if you can't Chinese made stuff, or if you're paid by one of the others you've mentioned. @@Rico11b Would I suggest trying all of them out at the same time and return all except your favorite one if I was who you think and would I have included Amazon into the mix if I was representing Optics Planet or the $799.99 Meopta Optika 6 (which I actually didn't specify EuroOptic or Scopelist for this deal since Optics Planet currently has rip off price for this Meopta)??? Fact is Bushnell is low quality for the prices they charged plain and simple. I personally own the most Bushnell scopes out of all brands of optics. I'm merely providing education of better quality alternatives for around the sane or for less money. I encourage using the Optics Planet and Amazon free returns within 30 days too. Why not buy the Match Pro ED too at the same time since it's also got a return money back guarantee too if you don't believe these other scopes are far superior. I was stupid too before I decided to buy a lot of scopes all at the same time to compare them side by side with each other and return all except one or two of the best ones. Say I buy 10 different similar scopes from different brands and only jeep one or 2 and return the rest. Can't get more subjective than that and also first hand experience is always the best since all eyes are different but I've become a scope snob and Bushnell glass now days just don't cut the mustard for me anymore after comparing it to these others. If you're a brand loyalist I can understand you refuse to even try anything better and often on sale for much cheaper from other brands and that's fine but you really don't know what you're missing. I also only recently discovered Bushnell has an F rating according to the BBB and had I known it's been going on over the last decade I wouldn't personally own as many Bushnell brand scopes than I actually have. I think my posts are actually the attempt to help people reading this avoid any grief if they still do decide buy Bushnell brand after knowing this fact so there's zero shock when they get screwed over warranty or meant to say IF benefit of the doubt. I personally had Bushnell tunnel vision too and for at least a decade I was going ho buying Bushnell's myself and my blinders didn't come off until I bought my first Athlon Midas Tac and Ares BTR. My mind was so set I really thought that Bushnell was best in the world before seriously not joking.
@@Rico11b They can't state German Schott glass because it would be an infringement on Vector Optics Continental 34mm version of the same scope. Same scope different reticle different brand label. If it's comparable to a $1500 Vortex then wouldn't you think the glass is at least more than decent? Don't take my word for it they state German glass and I even called the company who manufactures the scope for Vector Optics and Viridian to get it straight from the horses mouth. Confirmed same scope different reticle and different brand label has newer technology in regards to German Schott glass too so it's going to be slightly clearer than the Vector Optics Continental version. Don't take my free advice just buy it and return it if you aren't happy within 30 days and they provide a free return shipping label so there's zero risk on your part to try. Buy Primary Arms GLX from Optics Planet at the sane time and the Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 from Amazon and compare all and keep only one that you like the best and refund the rest. Can't be more straight forward and simpler don't you think? If I know of any cheaper places to buy these from I'd recommend buying from elsewhere instead fir the best price deals and specifically free returns and if Midway USA had these you have within 90 days to play with them before free prepaid returns by Midway USA via prepaid return shipping label.
@@Rico11b Man the Viridian Xactus could have been bought as cheap as $459 with free shipping and free returns within 30 days early April it was selling for cheaper then plus had a 15% discount code too only for a few days. I try to give everyone all these shared best deals to save the most money especially buying Chinese made scopes. I'm not anti Chinese, just anti rip off prices USA companies selling Chinese scopes ripping everyone off when they can actually sell them for half price and still earn healthy profits. People who are actually in the know, really know this fact.
The reticle looks like the H59, which is my favorite reticle because it has the best referencing via all the hash ticks. I have the Vortex EBR-7c and the NF ATACR 7-35x56 with Mil-XT but honestly... my favorite reticle is still the H59 because of the 0.2mil hash marks and all those areas of reference allow for more accurate, faster follow up shots. Anyone who shots a lot, who's used a lot of different reticles knows that. Ironically enough, i have the H59 in my Bushnell Elite Tactical XRS II. Great glass. I had some gripes about that scope but honestly, i will be using it for PRS on a Semi Auto in 6CM that i'm just about done putting together. This scope seems like a great bargain for the features. My Bushnell has better glass than my Steiner T5xi, Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 and Burris optics. It's second only to my ATACR. Fine, floating center dots are where it's at. I use Mil instead of MOA and i love 0.2 mil tic marks on my reticle with long tic marks... the longer, the better. If you impact outside of a point of reference, you are in for a guessing game. People saying a reticle is "busy" is a bit loaded in my opinion.
How do you like the image clarity at 30x with the new Match Pro ED? I own many Japan made Bushnells and they are definitely behind the times in optical resolution or obviously not using top tier glass IMHO after comparing them to other brands of Japan made scopes sold at similar price points such as the Tract Toric ELR and even the Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2 my 4.5-30x50 Japan made Bushnell Elites kinda suck optically on high magnification past 25x-26x or so and even my Chinese Athlon Ares BTR 4.5-27x50 smokes it optically and the turrets too. My favorite Bushnells are the Japan made 5-15x40AO Elite Tactical with the front focus AO and Philippines made Legend 5-15x40AO and Japan made Elite 6500 2.5-16x50s and 42s believe it or not. I am not to keen on my $900-$1000 Chinese made Bushnell Forge scopes, their glass isn't as clear as my Chinese Athlon Ares BTR and Midas TAC HD or Chinese Burris Signature HDs or Viridian Xactus or the new Primary Arms GLX all much cheaper prices compared to my Bushnell Forge scopes. The glass on the Forge scopes weren't much better than their cheaper Chinese Engage line which I also have and my Korean Nitro seems brighter and sharper on high magnification compared to the Forge and Engage as well. Yes I obviously do own quite a bit of Bushnell brand of scopes and they used to be my favorite until I discovered Athlon Midas Tac HD line and up as well as other brands selling superior Chinese made scopes under their own USA brand label for the same money if not cheaper. I think I own the most Bushnell brand of scopes out of all my scopes and just mostly disappointed in their Chinese made scopes with so called ED glass mostly and their high dollar Japan made ones due to poor image quality on high magnification and better superior quality choices available from other brands at similar price points if not cheaper.
The EP5 starts to go south past 20x while the Bushnell goes south at past 24x. The Arken EP5 is a really great scope when used as a 5-20x if the weight isn't an issue. The Arken is a better scope for long distance shooting than the Bushnell. It's limitations is primarily the glass quality. If they at least used the glass and turrets that Chinese Athlon Ares BTR uses it would for sure be a winner.
The bushnell if your budget allows, I prefer the bushnell reticle by far but the Arken is like $200 less so it’s really up to reticle preference and budget but I’d probably sway towards the Bushnell
@@midwest_long_range might have to try the bushnell out on one of the cz457 I have but for rimfire I personally don't want to put a 1k plus scope on one. now on my center fires I'm well to spend more
Arken warranty is far superior to Bushnell who don't honor their warranty in many cases according to the BBB Bushnell got an F rating fir screwing over way too many of their customers over warranty denials and did you know Bushnell only has a one year limited warranty on illuminated reticles in their scopes under the guise of a lifetime warranty which isn't even a real lifetime warranty? Some kind of electronics one year coverage not only illuminated reticles but trail cams and rangefinders and red dot sights too and original dated proof of purchase receipt required otherwise you get denied of any warranty. Beware of this fact before buying any Bushnell brand products so you don't get too surprised if they screw you over later. Google search "Bushnell warranty complaints" and Bushnell customer complaints" it's been terrible and ongoing over the past decade. I own a lot of Bushnell's and am really concerned after they swapped a cheap Korean scope for my expensive Japan made scope under warranty but this was over 10 years ago before the hundreds upon hundreds of customer complaints were posted online by hundreds if not thousands of angry Bushnell customers who got screwed over by Bushnell. 2 of my friends got screwed too under warranty one replacement was initially denied until threatening to pursue legal action swapped scope was far less value and not even close to his Japan made Bushnell and the other was denied recently a $1200 Japan made and was only offered a small percentage discount to buy a new one from them he said no way. So much for the lifetime warranty I guess. He even was charged shipping to get the broken Bushnell scope returned to him. It wasn't even abused he really babies his stuff and all his stuff looks brand new.
I wouldn't recommend wasting money on the Arken EP5 unless you don't mind the extra weight and not clear past 20x just like Bushnell image quality starts to go downhill past 24x and gets really dark too. If they made the Bushnell Match Pro ED a 4-24x56 instead and had better turrets then I think it could have been a winner but this is coming from a picky glass snob and expect perfect image quality on high magnification and like tactical turrets that aren't mushy like the Bushnell and expect perfection when spending almost $700 on a scope since I've seen way too many better quality scopes selling for less money with noticeably better image quality and with far superior turrets. If you prefer the Arken EP5 MIL Reticle, the $569.99 light weight 28.6oz Viridian Xactus 5-30x56 34mm with German Schott glass on sale less than half price has a very similar reticle compared to the EP5 not what's pictured on Optics Planet website. It also has the pop up rev indicator and lifetime warranty from a US company that isn't known to screw over their customers like Bushnell see BBB F rating for Bushnell. They have free shipping and free returns within 30 days if you aren't 100% happy with it so it's risk free to try out for yourself. It's clearer than the Match Pro ED and has nicer turrets too and for $130.00 less money spent. Keep in mind you're still buying their $1299.00 top of the line flagship scope from Viridian on sale for $569.99 so of course it's expected to be a lot better than a $699.99 entry level Bushnell.
So the site says that it's rated for centerfire cartridges but to what extent? Bit new to buying scopes and was wondering if this would a decent option or a dumb option for an Axis 2 precision in 308?
It's ok up till around 24x then image quality starts to diminish and get darker closer to maximum magnification. It's not as clear as the $609-$611 Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 and Bushnell turrets are mushy compared to the superior Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 turrets or $569.99 Viridian Xactus with German Schott glass on sale at Optics Planet which has noticeably better glass and better turrets compared to the new Match Pro ED. They have a free shipping and free returns within 30 days policy so suggest buying it and just return it if you compare to the Bushnell at the same time return the one you don't like. Bushnell also has a return for refund policy if you aren't 100% satisfied with it. If you're a glass snob you won't like the Match Pro ED past 24x magnification. I think it would have been perfect if they made it a 4-24x56 instead of the 5-30x56 since the glass simply lacks sharpness and resolution and gets really dark at 30x. It's beyond the quality of the glass capabilities past 24x. Like how the Arken EP5 5-25x56 image quality loses it past 20x. Other scopes that's noticeably clearer and have superior turrets than the Match Pro ED are Athlon Midas HD Gen 2 SFP, Midas Tac, Ares BTR Gen 2 and Ares ETR and Burris Signature HDs all of them, Primary Arms GLX (the newest released 2023 ones), Viridian Xactus 34mm FFP and much cheaper Antero 30mm SFP, Vortex Viper PST Gen 2, and the Viridian Xactus is the best one for $569.99 and free shipping and free returns within 30 days. It's actually a $1299.00 MSRP top of the line improved new version of the Vector Optics Continental 34mm scope that's currently selling on Amazon for $899.00 + $48.00 shipping. The reticle on the Viridian Xactus is different than the Vector Optics Continental. It looks like the Arken EP5 MIL reticle and only the center portion is illuminated. The Match Pro ED is closer to the new Discovery PRS in reality with mushy turrets.
@@djalluget6870 The Strike Eagle 5-25x56 optically sucks on high magnification and nothing coming from China with a Vortex label on it is any good IMHO except for the new light weight 3-18x44 34mm FFP Strike Eagle only when it goes on sale for $500-$599 but not at regular price and so far it's the only Chinese Vortex I feel that is maybe worth buying and only on sale. For the price of the Strike Eagle 5-25x56 the Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 for $609-$611 on sale is a much better scope with far superior glass and turrets. I used to be a Vortex fan as well as Bushnell until several of my Chinese Vortex started to have issues all of a sudden with very minimal use and all the failures are in fact from 3 different Chinese tiers of Vortex models. Hopefully the new light weight Strike Eagle 3-18x44 34mm FFP is built way better than all the rest of the Chinese made Vortex scopes and actually last at least a while before it requires warranty.
I managed to get my hands on a Bushnell Match Pro ED since they have a money back guarantee. It was milky when trying to shoot past 600-700 yards and on mid to high magnification it wasn't that clear. If you compare it to an Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 and Ares BTR G2 4.5-27x50 (currently on sale for $565.49 Walmart online with free shipping and free returns) these Athlons literally blows the MPED away in optical clarity without the MPED's haziness fogginess milkiness and loose mushy feeling turrets. The Athlon warranty is a real lifetime warranty including their electronics/illuminated reticle whole Bushnell claims 30 years with only 5 years on electronics/illuminated reticle in the Match Pro ED 5-30x56 and their Match Pro 6-24x50 with illuminated reticle. That's A BIG IF they feel like actually honoring their own warranty based on their already proven extremely shady warranty practices and all the overwhelming negative customer reviews and complaints that Bushnell somehow managed to just recently make all disappear on the BBB.
Arkens lifetime warranty includes their electronics/ illuminated reticle as long as Arken remains in business on the future. Their EP5 is worth buying for $397.49 better turrets than the MPED and equal at 5-20x with a very huge sight picture compared to the Bushnell. The MPED is a bit overpriced for what you get IMHO and probably more like a $500 Chinese scope since the Athlon Ares BTR G2 priced at $565.49 literally smokes it and has a bumper to bumper lifetime warranty including their electronics/illuminated reticle. Plus Bushnell may or may not actually want to actually honor their own written warranty when push comes to shove based on their very shady warranty history and the overwhelming negative customer reviews regarding Bushnell warranty practices.
How is the eye box on this scope? I understand that the eye box and parallax on the Arken are not great. I am looking for a generous eye box due to my vision.
The Viridian Xactus has a much more forgiving eyebox compared to the Match Pro ED when comparing Chinese made scopes. If you want the most forgiving eyebox you don't want Chinese made with the only exceptions of the Vector Optics Continental and Viridian brand version specifically their Xactus and Antero lines. Other than that you want a Philippines made Burris or Primary Arms GLX also made in the Philippines have good eyebox. Heck even the Chinese made Burris Signature HD have friendly eyeboxes 6.5 Creedmor 5-25x50 FFP illuminated there's a discount returns on Amazon for $480-ish normally sells for around $600-$799 this is so nice you'd never even think it's actually made in China. $569.99 free shipping and free returns within 30 days fir the Viridian Xactus 5-30x56 34mm with German Schott glass and weighs only 28.6oz and has a lifetime warranty too. New line of scopes from a US company selling pistol sights and accessories.

@@mrwd1234 Bushnell seems to really want to silence the truth and delete all negative reviews and comments as they just recently did over on the BBB by somehow managing to even disable Google search BUSHNELL OUTDOOR BBB when you try to Google it. They even managed to get all of their own negative reviews and the pissed off customer complaints on the BBB to all magically disappear and to somehow acid wash them all. It must be an incredible feat to be able to actually delete all history of negative reviews and complaints on the BBB website for your own company.
That’s gonna be close… the pst Gen II is a different price point but in my opinion they are goons be to close to call for me just depends on which reticle you prefer but for me I’m probably gonna go with the Bushnell but it’s been a while since I looked through the vortex
Way better quality options out there and much cheaper than the Bushnell or Vortex. If you're a glass snob and hate mushy turrets you won't like the Bushnell.
Nice review just too bad Bushnell has the absolute worst warranty ethics and really terrible customer service and even earned an F rating according to the BBB for screwing over way too many of their customers over warranty issues they deny, plus is the Illuminated reticles in the scopes only come with a one year warranty under the guise of a lifetime warranty which isn't even a real lifetime warranty unlike Vortex and Burris.
Correction, Bushnell has a 5 year warranty on their scopes with illuminated reticle/ electronics such as this Match Pro ED and their illuminated models of their Match Pro.
Bushnell just recently somehow managed to disable their overwhelming amount of negative reviews from very pissed off Bushnell customers by somehow hindering or disabling the Bushnell Outdoor BBB Google search function and managed to erase all evidence of their 3 pages worth of BBB Bushnell customer complaints. Google search BUSHNELL CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS and BUSHNELL WARRANTY COMPLAINTS and BUSHNELL OUTDOOR YELP before they try to make those search function complaints disappear which they may be trying to do now in order to silence everyone they screwed over who were in fact stupid enough to even buy Bushnell brand products. Take this as a stark warning when buying Bushnell brand products because when you yourself get screwed over by them you will most definitely remember this real factual warning.
I'd highly recommend several better quality scopes for around the same or less money to review for better quality for the money for the truly worthy best new budget scope title. I'm sure you'll agree once you test these for yourself as the best bang for the buck in much higher quality (relatively speaking when compared to the Bushnell Match Pro ED) in mid priced optics. You can buy them and plan to return them within their return period but suggest you buy all at the same time for direct side by side comparison. You are probably going to want to return the Bushnell for refund under their return policy after checking these out and clearly noticing these are hands down night and day difference way better scopes. Viridian Xactus on sale $569.99 top of the line light weight 28.6oz 5-30x56 34mm scope with German Schott glass with 10 yard minimum focus and rev indicator on sale for $569.99 free shipping and free returns within 30 days Optics Planet. Regularly $1299.00 and has a lifetime warranty from a US based company who's already been in the firearms green dot sights and rifle and pistol accessories business. This Viridian Xactus is an improved version of the Vector Optics Continental 34mm with nicer reticle that resembles Arkens MIL with center illumination and (the Vector Optics version with not quite as nice reticle) is currently selling for $899.00 + $48.00 shipping on Amazon. Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50 $609-$611 Amazon free shipping and free returns normally sells for $869.99 and MSRP of $1087.49. Fantastic turrets at least equal to the Arkens if not better light weight 27.3oz in a 30mm tube with 85MOA total elevation travel only the $2000+ Nightforce NX8 slightly beats it at 90MOA. Exceptional glass higher level than the Bushnell Match Pro ED and Arken EP5 and EPL4s and Element Titan and Nexus specially compared head to head within their own magnification levels. I like the Ares BTR Gen 2 even better than the 4-20x50 Tract Toric with better image quality at 4.5-20x magnification and by far superior turrets on the Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2. Athlon's Lifetime warranty Includines electronics even the Illuminated reticle unlike Bushnell which only has one year warranty on their illuminated reticles in their scope not that many realize this fact and think it has a lifetime warranty but it's not a real lifetime warranty which in their logic can range from as little as only one year to 20-30 years under a lot of conditions for them to not honor it. See Bushnell's BBB F rating for Bushnell as documented fact. This Athlon Ares BTR is clearer and brighter than the Match Pro ED at this scope's 27x maximum magnification where the Bushnell starts to lose sharpness and definition past 24x and is useless at 26x-30x unless you simply enjoy looking through distortion, fog and chromatic abherration. New released model Primary Arms GLX 4.5-27x56 34mm 120MOA total elevation travel has a Leupold-ish CDS ZL infinity dial that doesn't limit total elevation travel and new improved ED glass compared to other older GLX models and shake awake type technology if you forget to turn off the Illuminated reticle and made in the Philippines not China currently on sale at the lowest price I've seen so far at $730.79 when using their current 13% off discount code (expires 5/19/2023 11:59PM CS) or $755.99 with 10% discount code after 5/20/2023 at Optics Planet with free shipping and free returns within 30 days. Regularly $899.99 when bought direct from Primary Arms or 10% off at best $809.99. Specifically recommend the model with the Athena BPR MIL reticle. Lifetime warranty from Primary Arms. Not made in China. A much more affordable alternative compared to the current $1200+ (when on sale) Burris XTRIII 5.5-30x56 also made in the Philippines but has less total elevation travel 90MOA vs 120MOA for the Primary Arms GLX. I have zero affiliation with any of these scope brands or their dealers who sell them. The Amazon seller is legit and you can return the scope anyway after review or keep if you like it better than the Primary Arms GLX or Viridian Xactus. It's gonna be close but I already know many knowledgeable shooters prefer not to buy Chinese made scopes whenever possible due to personal ethics or just prefer better quality than what made in China has to offer. People in the know are well aware of the fact that made in China are actually meant for huge corporate profits and not for quality otherwise they'd have their scopes made in Japan or at least made in the Philippines instead that's why you only buy Chinese made scopes and optics only when they're on sale for half price or at least close to half price otherwise it's throwing away your hard earned money for Chinese products to pay corporate profits and to keep their investor's wallets really fat. They can easily sell Chinese made scopes and optics and other Chinese made products for half price and still make a huge killing in profits. If you have Expert Voice hookup you can buy scopes and optics for 40%-70% off. Another NOT Chinese made scope is the currently on sale $799.99 Meopta Optika 6 5-30x56 34mm FFP illuminated MRAD made in Europe Czech republic with German Schott glass and has a lifetime warranty through their Florida based US distributor. It's a $1259.99 scope comparable to the Athlon Cronus BTR Gen 2 and even better with it's optional factory sunshade screwed in which must be purchased separately for another $50 or screw in the $30 Athlon Ares ETR 56mm sunshade if you don't mind a different shade of black.
It is now December 4, 2023. What scope would you now recommend? Have you changed your mind on any of the above since you wrote this post somewhere around 6 months ago? I am looking to purchase a long range target scope and am considering Athlon Ares ETR 4.5-30x56mm on Euro optics for $875.00. What are your thoughts? I have also looked into Viridian Xactus which is currently $ 617.00 but am reluctant as I can find almost nothing in reviews online.
@@chainsaw5524 Do NOT buy the Primary Arms GLx. They don't have good quality glass in them and definitely not worth their price. Excellent! I’ve had really good success with my Match Pro Gen 1 and speak highly of it. Bushnell has corrected all the small details that I need to replace it with a Gen 2 on my 457. Thanks for the review man! Good stuff!
Thanks for watching

Why not buy the Match Pro ED too at the same time since it's also got a return money back guarantee too if you don't believe these other scopes are far superior.
Sweet. Thanks for the review. It appears this is the new standard for an affordable precision rifle scope.
It’s my favorite budget scope out at the moment
I was able to get one. I am pumped but I have not taken it out yet. I like my elite tactical xrs3 for my 6.5.
I got one and am not disappointed.
I was pleasantly surprised with this one
We have a shooter at Regulators Rimfire with one. He loves it!! I’d like to give one a try to compare with my Arken EP5.
My ep5 is a solid budget scope but the eyebox is definitely more forgiving on the Bushnell and I like the Bushnell reticle better
I been wondering about this one thank you for sharing.
No problem sir!
Arken ep5 vs bushnell ed? Ur thought on it
The bushnell if your budget allows, I prefer the bushnell reticle by far but the Arken is like $200 less so it’s really up to reticle preference and budget but I’d probably sway towards the Bushnell
Where did you get that swinging bullseye target? I really dig it.
So the site says that it's rated for centerfire cartridges but to what extent? Bit new to buying scopes and was wondering if this would a decent option or a dumb option for an Axis 2 precision in 308?
I think it would be a very good fit for that setup.
I am running this scope on .308, 6.5 Creed (bolt and AR-10) and 6GT. Flawless so far.
Head to head comparison vs other scopes??
I put it just above the strike eagle. Generous eye box. Glass is ok. Reticle is very functional.
It was very forgiving for me.

@@mrwd1234 You my friend need to go to church and pray more often.
@@mrwd1234 Bushnell seems to really want to silence the truth and delete all negative reviews and comments as they just recently did over on the BBB by somehow managing to even disable Google search BUSHNELL OUTDOOR BBB when you try to Google it. The Vortex flip up caps do work for it.

Bushnel or vortex pst?

If you can manage to afford a Vortex Razor Gen 3 it's the last scope you'll probably ever buy. Nothing compares to them. Not even the top of the line tier 1 scopes. They are $2450 for the black ones at EuroOptic and Scopelist. Another worthwhile option is the Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 F1 MIL-XT $1799 from Blackhawk Rifles get quote over the phone this was their recent sale price and is the last scopes I bought 2 of few days ago but backordered just couldn't pass up the sale price. Not as nice as the Razor Gen 3 but they're much lighter weight that's why I bought 2 more of them and sale price I simply couldn't pass up.
My personal favorite scopes are in order of most favorite -
1 Vortex Razor Gen 3 6-36x56
2 Nightforce NX8 F1 MIL-XT 4-32x50.
3 Athlon Ares BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50
4 Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50
5 Athlon Midas BTR Gen 2 4.5-27x50 SFP
6 Element Optics Theos 6-36x56 (This would have been #2 if their customer service and warranty communication wasn't as slow) the first one I have seems to be defective.
