These are perfect gift ideas or just nice things to make for yourself!
Hand-building a wavy checkered mug and saucer set 🎀
I'm starting a new series called the Pinterest Series where I recreate ceramics from Pinterest!
Please note that you can not use air-dry clay for this project as it needs to be food safe. Stoneware clay needs to be used for functional and dinner ware. Once it has dried fully (about a week or two), then take it to a firing service to be fired and glazed.
To learn more about the ceramic process and how it all works give this video a watch:

Thank you! They were fired separately

How did you glaze it and what glaze did you use?
This was dip glazed with a transparent glaze
how much amount of clay did you use for the cup? ❤️
About 500g✨
Can we drink from the mug? I’m so confuse. They say that this mugs are not food safe
Yes you can - as long as it is made with a food-safe clay, fired to the correct temperature, and a food-safe glaze is used
