It doesn’t take long for the paint to dry when you paint it on a bone dry piece or bisqueware (when it’s been fired once to bisque temperature), the ceramic is so dry that it absorbs the water that’s in the paint so quickly. It can take a few seconds to a minute depending on certain aspects. You can usually fire it the same day
@@MehakMirza-s1t no you can’t use acrylic on stoneware - the paint will just burn away at the high temperatures in the kiln (when it gets fired). Only time you can use acrylic is on air dry clay
I am not much of a YT watcher but this was so soothing and soo cool. You have a new fan!
You are by far one of the most talented ceramists in the whole youtube , a big fan of your work from Greece ❤

how much amount of clay did you use for the cup? ❤️
About 500g✨
How did you glaze it and what glaze did you use?
This was dip glazed with a transparent glaze
Can we drink from the mug? I’m so confuse. They say that this mugs are not food safe
Yes you can - as long as it is made with a food-safe clay, fired to the correct temperature, and a food-safe glaze is used
Si o si necesita pasar por un horno? Es decir, horno de cocina o que tipo de horno por favor
Functional ware (mugs, bowls, plates etc.) needs to be made from stoneware (a type of clay) that then gets fired in a kiln to 1200 degrees Celsius
