I added the "Tears" video because I thought it felt really well here! Thank you to Aaliyah Draws for letting us fandub yet another one of her comics! Seriously, please go check her out! I have played Asra's route as well but neveeer imagined his voice for some reason and this is just spot on! Though I am a sucker for Julian :shrug:

The only thing i don't understand is why asra didn't stay with the MC ..it he rly loved them .he won't just let go , he would stay with and support them ....at least they could die togethers lol

Because for him, Vesuvia in danger is not his concern. Remember Asra lived in a very harsh environment where each is for themselves and he didn't really get any help from Vesuvia when he needed it. (Like when his parents were taken and he had to live on the docks as a kid and sometimes steal food because he's hungry) So he had a lot of grievances from the city as he grew up. During the plague, the city that had "abandoned" him and the count that he hated "needs him" but on the face of mortal danger like the plague, he doesn't feel indebted or feel the need to help at all. He wanted to take MC with him but I suppose the MC was too stubborn to come with. He probably wanted MC to still have choices, so he left alone.

I'm really confused cause Asra sounds a little like Zevran from Dragon Age. Which is not a bad thing, but... you know... considering that the Warden may die and he would never want another partner for years, except for maybe Isabella... Which gives me a thought: is Julian a local isabella in Vesuvia? Even that inn in Kirkwall where she lived is called "The Hanged Man"... OMG. Weird things I have in my mind after this video.
Also, I can't see our adequate and tough apright-end-MC crying her ass off like this, but yeah, my heart is bleeding now. Good job! =)

@@finnlack7081 haha Portia's way too cute and innocent to be Isabella, I think. She's more like Merril: curious, naive, a little awkward when things get personal, but very determined and surprisingly tough 👀😁 And everything - for her friends and family (clan), even if they don't understand and accept.
Muriel is Fenris without bloody vengeance part. A scared loner, concentrated on his past, having no idea how to move on or actually live.
We need a whole research 😅
@@Lonely_Moth fair, fair. Now I think Asra would be Varric or Anders. I have no idea who Lucio would be, though they'd have to be chaotic (actually second thought, Anders might be a good match for Lucio lol)
@@finnlack7081 Yeah, Lucio is a complicated case (as always lmao). I thought about dear Carver, but Anders is a good match as well, but that before letting Justice in, I guess. Lucio... is such a rare jerk (gasp). Mainly, he's hopelessly lost in his own self-deceiving fantasies to cope with hardships, and holds on to his appearances for dear life so people could like him. Sadly, noone really comes to mind... Not that I know *all* the DA characters that well. Useful exchange of experience here ☺️
As for Asra, I have to confess... I don't like him that much since I discovered in the prologue his tendency to erase my memory of his failed confessions left and right, so I didn't trust him and couldn't analyse his personality deep enough. From what I've noticed, he does prefer to look like a confident and caring chill guy, but he's rather selfish, flees from problems whenever he can, and when he can't he carelessly uses everyone around to solve them. Cannot think of anyone either.
But... I always have Nadia as a beacon of certainty: she gives me Vivienne vibes 😅👌
@@Lonely_Moth with the erasing perhaps Asra could be likened to Cole, where he's trying to help but erases whenever he gets anything wrong. Lucio, admittedly, gets a lot of things wrong, but usually isn't trying to be evil. So, maybe Lucio could be Solas, because they're both trying to attain their goals but likewise accidentally becoming villains (though i do like Lucio better )

Seriously I get surprised by how many people always write negative things about Asra everywhere ... it’s making me wonder if we’re actually playing the same game.
After finishing all the arcane routes, I seriously don’t understand how could people say stuffs like these. He never even tell MC what he sacrifices to bring them back or that he is in love with them for nine years in any other routes except his.
Also for three years, he has been teaching MC everything they know.... while always being in pain to see MC doesn’t even remember him... or remembering about their past life hurts them.
Also he supports MC in whoever they choose to love (he even offer love advice in Nadia’s route).
It’s obvious, why in the beginning, he wasn’t happy about MC relationship with Julian (like dude he was his ex with unresolved issues) but he still console MC when Julian left them.
And it’s more obvious why he wasn’t happy about Lucio... like how anyone would feel if the person they love suddenly started dating the person was the reason for his parents disappearance. And making him homeless when he was just five or something.
Sorry for writing such a big comment. Just thought I should defend him.
