The older I get the lamer Batman's justification for not killing Joker is getting. His ideals are literally getting innocents killed and I wonder if they're even ideals at all anymore. Every DC story is "Hero kills villain, gets addicted to the power, becomes mass murderer" but that's so childish. God forbid they do a "Hero kills Joker. It doesn't go to his head. Lives are saved. Hero reflects on his actions, does his best to decide when that's okay to do and when it isn't. Remains peaceful and kind, but watchful and realistic. The end." They do that and Batman looks like an IDIOT.
Once you kill someone..youll start to kill all of them who doesnt obey the law..(injustice movie -superman even killed young kids and started to control people And then can you call them heroes..no they will be criminals too (you use that thing you become one of them -batman in bad blood) Thats why batman said to clark dont cross that line because you cant come back ... This is the different between a hero and a anti hero (crime fighter)
I feel people generally have a misconception as to why Batman doesn't kill. Which is reasonable as most forms of batman media fail to portray it correctly. Its not based on morals but simply the fact that Batman is mentally unstable and he knows it. Oh yeah, for Injustice. In the Injustice comics, we were shown an alternate timeline where batman kills the joker and Superman doesn't go rogue. But Batman allows himself to be arrested. Anyway, back to my original point. Batman is mentally unstable. In fact, he uses logic to decide what is right and wrong rather than morals or emotion. Simply because he can't properly view the difference between right and wrong. He acts without knowing how it would affect somebody. For example, he created contingenices to take down every member of the Justice League without their knowledge based on the common sense that if the JL were to ever be mind controlled or if they were to go rogue, they would need to be taken down. But he never thought how it would affect them emotionally and their trust. Another example comes from Injustice. Batman is normally fine with Superman killing, in fact Superman has killed a lot in the comics without losing his morals. Batman is fine with people doing it but not him specifically. But he's not fine when it's not done under the right mental condition or for a crime that doesn't fit the bill or with disregard for the consequences. In the case of Injustice Superman, he was mentally broken and grieving. Unstable, and taking that route was not going to help. It also left him open to being manipulated by Injustice WW who was inherently evil and Batman knew her true nature. But, instead of being there for Clark, he pushed him away for his actions and by extension allowed WW to easily manipulate him into becoming obsessed with power. Batman understood this later but was taking the logical route of "Superman went off the rails, we need to stop him before he becomes something worse." using logic over emotion. What superman was needed was a friend. What Clark needed was Bruce. But Bruce was not there, Batman was, but only to drive Clark away. And the final example is the fact that Batman is the true identity of Bruce Wayne, not Bruce Wayne. Batman views Bruce as a persona. The opposite of Clark Kent who views Superman as the persona and Clark as his real self, believing he would go mad if he had to act perfect all the time. Batman recognizes Superman as better for that reason, he is human deep down even though he may be an alien on the outside. Batman is not human deep down from his perspective.
No one gets to decide who lives or dies, they arent gods. Crossing that line of becoming judge, jury and executioner would corrupt anyone esp w that amount of power.. innocents dying is a tragedy of war. Its something u have to accept just like how u have no problem sleeping at night knowing the thousands of innocents dying overseas during the war in the middle east. It is 100% a morality case, drawing that line decides whether you are a hero or anti hero.
Superman is in the right here. SOME LIVES NEEDS TO BE TAKEN IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE MAJORITY. Edited: Just read LARRYLONGSTRETH's comment for further explanation. The comment below mine. 👇.
@I AM Optimus Prime Superman isn't afraid of kryptonite (green rocks) it's his weaknesses. There are some instances when he has fought and defeated kryptonite powered villains like Metallo.

Yeah, everybody here talking about how lame its batman argument and how killing its sometimes justified, I want to see if you re capable of killing "for good reasons". Killing changes people, its on our nature that when we kill we become monsters and its never okey. The correct thing its to send criminals to the darkest pit and let them pay with their lives, not giving them the EASY and COMFORTABLE exit of the death.
Supermans idea is good but is Flawed. I get killing braniac. But, this is the same superman that killed shazam for standing up to him. He wanted to kill everything that stood in the way of peace. Batman didnt want to kill people because he felt he would get too far, exactly like superman does during the injustice series multiple times. Red hoods way of seeing things is bassicly supermans idea but way better. Kill the people that goes too far but, if theres room to change, they are given a chance.

Ranted a bit too much there. But TLDR, it's not a morals thing. Anyway, could go more in depth but this is too much for a UA-cam comment.

How did flash not see that elbow coming?
Cuz Wonder Woman could match his speed at some degree and because Flash never learns to watch out for surprise attacks
