Came here for 2:03 to see if I was just missing something or I had some bug but nah I just didn't manage to catch the ledge. All you have to do is walk to the very edge and press jump and forward immediately after, works fine on modern controls too

Finally just figured this out, push the block to the very far end so it's lined up with the pillar, get on the block and instead of doing a running jump stand on the edge of the block closest to the pillar and do a standing jump towards it. For some reason that lets her jump higher. Really wish the game had actually explained that
I found the most easiest way is to walk to the edge of the block facing the pillar, and than push the left analog up as you jump than as she lounges, hit and hold the action button and she grab the edge of the pillar
I played this levels hundreds of times... I'd play flawlessly for 10-15 or even 20 minutes and then immediately die because I got too close to a ledge or something. I HATE this level so much.
If you like me are stuck with the jumps - once you jump from the movable pillar to the first one, jump to the pillar that is on the right of Lara. You can then jump to the ledge of the roof at the end of the room and follow it around. It’s a LOT easier of a jump and you can easily jump across to the middle pillar to pick up the medipack. 2:03

Are you using something to make the camera move accordingly? Just asking cause it's very nice, and got me wondering if I'm doing something wrong with my setup. I'm using tank controls and a PS4 controller.
I don’t know if it was just me but when I did this jump I switched the graphics over to the OG style and made it look easy as the remastered version was giving me problems to do it perfect lol

Why everyone is jamming at the 2:03 jump is beyond me. If you have trouble with the diagonal front jump, you could easily get up there by moving the block again to the front of the pillar. It is never necessary to imitate the this video.

I am playing on the switch, and I swear there is some sort of glitch. I am trying to jump onto the columns after the summersault room and I just can't do it at all. (About 2:48).
I figured iut how to climb that fucking ledge (for those who haven't yet). You have to hold the action button immediately after you jump, trigger to catch earlier... I didn't know you could do that 💀. Now I catch the ledge every single time. RIP
Anybody else not have the door open at 3:04? I pulled the switch in the gorilla room, restarted the level, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still won't open for me on Series X

You should stop modern control as soon as possible and change to tank control.

If you’re using modern controls, use square (the walk button) to get right to the edge then forward jump action and you should be able to grab it.

Is the secert door in room with the four puzzle rooms on a timer? Every time i get down there its always closed.
From what I remember, it should close 16 seconds after leaving the differently patterned tile.

How on earth do you jump backwards and turn forward in mid air at 3:15? Ive tried a million times.
It can be reversed by pressing the roll key immediately after the jump. If this is not possible, the only way is to descend backward down the slope.

Since the scene at 2:48 is a short cut, you should jump to the first low pillar you climbed.
