Been watching for a long time and glad to see you're still making this type of content with how UA-cam and society has gotten. It's definitely one of my favorites and I did know that the beta branch has this many great updates added so I'll have to check them out. Also really enjoying your Ultimate General Revolution gameplay as well. Keep it up man with regards from The Volunteer State!
Absolutely love this game and this series. Recommended it to one of my Co-workers who, turns out, is a Great or Great-Great Grandchild of John Bell Hood.
I still am in the middle of an epic campaign as CSA in GTCW, it's April 1 1863, so a lot to plan, and I have company for the holiday, so just waiting for them to clear out to get back into it. Your vids keep me in the game, which is great. I am trying to get to the later years in GTCW, to see how the more advanced weapons and ships play out, so it's going to be a while before I get to WnL.
"...Train them sir. Train them with the bayonet. Train Train until it is part of them.. Train them to Give the the cold steel! Then Sir and only then, we shall have ultimate victory!". "Train them with the bayonet cpt... and we shall gain our freedom!"
With four brigades you should easily be able to hold one back in reserve. This allows you to reinforce the line or react to surprises. You can also hold one regiment back in each brigade for the same reason. All of the Union groups seemed to have more artillery than you. I don't know if you can get more guns rather than better firearms. Good luck!
I'm still not sure how to link a division to the main army. I know there was a tutorial about it, but I only know how to do so with individual brigades.
You should move all your troops to the designated area and get free prestige. I think you can add one of your companions in the camp to military studies, thats +2 to it.
With the actions, careful not to do one of them over20 times or it bugs out the action panel...unless that got fixed. It is one of the bugs I am waiting to be fixed.
Same here. Playing as union and its -64 and my regiments are 300-500 strong. Before I used to send 500 strong troops to replenish and now I can only send 200 strong units. I put all my prestige and money to recruitment too.
@@TheSycotik the numbers have to dip below 200 before you can replenish? At that point might as well just merge it with another and recruit a whole new regiment
@@grug6682 You can send bigger units, but then you dont have any fighting force. Merging is such a waste of a good unit and I avoid it as much as I can. Lately my commanders are starting to die and get wounded much more (2 killed 5 wounded in one battle), so thats a pain too.
@@daviddodson8922 Love the game too! I find the AI frustrating though. But this update seems to have fixed some of the issues. I noticed that friendly units will now come to support you and not just leave you to die in the field. So that's a big win in my book!
For some reason, the mic in this video has a bit of an Earrape aspect to it VTH has a good singing voice, His rendition of Old Town Road is actually good 5:28
Imagine you're a Civil War soldier and in the middle of battle you hear your commander say "oops misclick"

Even worse, it is god up in the sky saying it

Love it how this game moves from gran strategy to rpp about gambling and alcohol.
Great stuff!
Watching you play this is making me want to acquire this game as well. Really enjoying the content. I can't wait to see what happens next!
2:08 like George B. McClella chilling in tha camp🤣😜

Please tell me when you find out. I was wondering the same.

I don't think I've ever known a commander who got 8 hours of sleep a night. I know none of mine ever did.

I don’t know if y’all are having the same problem but no matter how much time I put into recruiting my regiments never replenish

How do I update the game on steam? Mine doesn't have the camp feature?
Sounds like you pulled a sicles..taking your division out beyond your ordered position..
It's not a racket, it's lobbying!
Was this early access to the update? I don't have these new features yet.
@@daviddodson8922 Thanks! I got it. I figured it out shortly after lol. But again, thanks!

You have enough guns on line with a militia to cover charge behind
👍
You plan on bringing back the Total War: Napoleon gameplay?
Love these!
How did you pull up a camp
When did this camp feature get released?
I don't see it in mine.
You probably need to enable beta updates in steam.
I started a new career in the south and don't have the camp option like you do. What gives?
I would guess it only becomes available once you get independent command.
@anderskorsback4104 i have an independent command same as him.
Have you enabled beta updates?
Why not upgrade your Division to a Corps? Or is that no longer an option.
It's not an option if you're playing career mode.
will we ever get more hoi4 vids?
6.3 engineering points overnight. Use them
Yes, always when on defencive build parapets and if needed use men to build breastworks.
