Que bello! Bellissima! This is dressage opera. So wonderful to watch! Isabell is such a perfectionist(-a)!
Why doesn't the commentator talk about how Emilio is NOT sitting in the piaffe and that he is behind the vertical?
Omg I love dressage!! I don't understand it all but I'm beginning to. I've rode western my whole life and dressage is like the ballet of the equestrian world. Such beauty and grace. How talented these riders/trainers must be to train a horse to do that. It looks so effortless.
Dann nimm dir bitte nicht diese Reiterin als Vorbild.
Really intresting
I didn't see any activity in the first piaffe (pirouette), when the commentator said "super activity"). I get that Isabell has some really good horses but her rides on Emilio just don't look win-worthy at all to me . But I'm not a professional so....
She has not yet shown a single piaffe worthy of the name.
what an incredible test tho!
Beautiful.
someone exaggerated with the term "perfect"...
I always thought piaffe and passage is a diagonal movement??
Here I don't see it!!
He looks hollow and stiff to me, that first extended trot he looked like a Tennessee Walker. Who cares about "activity" when he's not even working over his back? What an obedient and tolerant boy though.
Rory she is excellent at contorting horses into frames and forcing them to do what she wants them to do. She is good at what she does but what she does isn’t actually good.
@@tropicaoptica yeh I was thinking the same thing!. I know she's meant to be the best but I just dont enjoy watching her...her horses always look off to me, stiff and hollow...i personally don't aspire to ride like her though.
You re so right!!
True. I'm not impressed by Emilio's performance either, though he was very obedient and willing to please.
@@tropicaoptica Well said!
So sad! Poor Emilio, he must have pain in his back!
Why?
He isn’t using his back properly. Which usually means that it is painful. 😖
@@horsesforever1093 And how can he use his back properly? Just asking, not an equestrian.
@@Elinator2.0 they’re meant to use get their hind legs under themselves and to use their hindquarters to push from behind, lifting the back and engaging the abdominal muscles. A horse that isn’t working correctly over the back constantly is susceptible to conditions like kissing spine as the back hollows and the dorsal spinal processes of the thoracic vertebrae touch together and rub
@@andiebebbington Thank you!
Doesn't anyone notice how often the bottom leaves the saddle? How much momentum she has to gain with her upper body and how rigid she is in the pelvis? The spurs are more in the horse than anywhere else.
Please someone make the intern that writes the video titles get some dressage lessons and teach what “perfect” looks like, cause this ain’t it
You gave me such a hard love!!
Thanks!! 👍😇
👍
This performance leaves a lot to be desired imo. The piaffe was far from perfect.
