Hi everyone. I am Timbers Owner the dog in this video. I just wanna say that I love my dog. I would never do anything to hurt him or force him to do anything he didnt enjoy. Timber LOVES squeaks. They come once a week for 30 mins. Timber is on a routine and he looks forward to it every week. about 30 mins prior to them showing up, Timber starts starring out the window waiting for the Orange Van to show. As we get closer to the time he starts whinning next to the closet i keep his running vest in. 5 mins till its time I put on his vest and Timber starts pacing in excitement next to the window. Once he sees the van he is jumping for joy hes love them. He then drags.... and i do mean drags me to their van. He jumps in the van and then on the run all by himself. No help. Not forced. Honestly it would be a fight to get him off. He runs at his own pace for the next 30 mins with some water breaks in between. He decides how fast or slow he wants to go. Yes the owners are there and they play or encourage him on the run. They do not force. Im reading stuff on here that bugs me saying its abusive, and frankly im shocked. Please do not speak for Timber on this. My dog would be heart broken if he didnt have this. One week they had to cxl becasue of the snow. He was so sad that week. waited by the window all day. This is something great for the dogs. It might not be for everydog but for Timber its something he LOVES.
dogs aren’t meant to be on that for long periods of time 30 min is way to long! and the speed they they have it on is way too fast!!! stop being lazy and take him out on walks like a normal person he doesn’t need this type of service
@@applejax1984 i run my dogs on my bike for 30 mins and they are pulling me so they are pulling more weight than this dog. It's not lazy to let a dog to run them. Dogs who get the max exercise on the regular lives a lot longer.
@@applejax1984they don't have it on any speed?? These treadmills don't work like people ones. The dog controls the speed. There is no electricity to these. It's just a bunch of wheels that the fabric topper can move on if force is applied by the dog. If the dog were to stop, the treadmill would stop.
I am disabled and cannot run with my pup, he would LOVE to go running at times. going at his pace instead of having to stay at mine..this is great! Blessings.
I’m also disabled and the biggest thing that keeps me from getting a dog breed that I really want is how high energy labradors are. This would be great to have in addition to daily walks to relaly let them get their energy out
Its not totally true that you cant run a dog like that. YOU cant keep up with a dog like that, but you can if youre on a bicycle. Thats what i do. I know not everyone will be able to do that tho. I would love to try one of these for my dogs because it gets way to hot in the summer in the south.
I had a pacemaker for 19 years, make sure you get checked for blood clots. I had a blood clot in my neck and SVC (Superior vena Cava is the second largest vein in the body) because the wires caused it. I nearly died, Mayo Clinic in Minnesota SAVED MY LIFE ❤. Whenever anything foreign is in your body, it builds calcium around (paceman, wires, bullets still stuck in people, steel, etc.) I had a Medtronic pacemaker, after 19 years I never needed it…
How do you train your dog on a tredmill on one of these ones? I want a tredmill but I dont want an electric one because I want her to stop when she wants to.
You’ve done nothing wrong stop listening to those that just coddle and are liberals and don’t want their dog to exercise they aren’t working on connecting with their pets I own two acres and it’s easier with my dog but this is still a greats idea especially in inclement weather or in the snow
What does someone being a liberal have to do with this?… my family owns 34 acres and we have two German Shepards, perfectly well trained and not coddled.
Yeah because the dog doesn’t want to stop they go for a good while 😂, longer than shorts anyways, the dog just goes from a run, to a trot, to a walk, then they stop.
I just use a field collar and take my dog out to places where they're allowed to be loose. Running isn't the sole component to a healthy exercise routine. Dogs need to sniff and interact with other dogs and learn how to react to natural surroundings. Treadmills are more appropriate as a medical alternative. They should NOT replace a dog's daily walk.
Dude you can't read animals at all if he was pissed he wouldn't be running he was having fun maybe a bit confused as to why he ain't caught that ball yet but fun none the less
It's not that. I'm sure that dog gets plenty of walks. Think of it like this. We will NEVER as regular people be able to run our dogs like this. Having your dog run at these speeds for say 5 to 10 mins at a time is SO healthy for the dog. It's heart, lungs, and blood circulation. And people who have dogs that say chew at doors, lanolium flooring. Chew shoes. Chew remotes. This will get all that excess energy out of that dog. So it's way more calm. I see so many working breeds sitting in shelters because families gave up on the dog destroying the house. Its so sad. Its not the dogs fault its bred to go 200 mph all day and night. These are working breed dogs for farms and search and rescue. And we keep them locked up in apartments and houses. Whats gonna happen? I hope you Change your mind on this❤
then get him off the damn tred mill when he looks like he’s about to fumble over his legs! the damn thing is also going way too fast dogs aren’t meant to be running like this for long periods of time 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Wym lol the dog can control how fast he runs and dogs can run for hours. I take mine to the dog park every week for 6+ hours and he runs the whole time
First the dog controls the speed. Second dogs literally come from wolves and are able to run for a long period of time. They're one of the best endurance runners in the animal kingdom

I can't believe the negativity in this comments section. I think this is a great way for a high energy dog to get some of that energy out.
This is such an amazing idea. The ideas are endless!!!

@@SuaveCityGear he’s most likely talking about a dog pacer and not a pacemaker. Dog pacer is a brand of dog treadmill
@@SuaveCityGear 😂 Ow boy.
Wow!! Love this!!!
Who makes that mill?
This is a great way to power your van.
Smart using the ball.
What brand is this treadmill?
What brand of slat mill are you using? We are currently in the market to purchase one for our GSD/Malinois mix. Thank you!
There’s no specific brand. Their generic. But they cost anywhere from $700 to $2500.
this is awesome
Timber is amazing!! 💨💨💨
Go puppy go
I’m looking all over today for models that can handle my shepherd and rottie mix think I found it do you have a link.

Flirt pole will do better especially for high drive dogs
I swear no one ever shows the dog coming to a stop on one of these things.

$600 to $2500

Imagine wanting to have a dog yet you are too lazy to care for it you gotta hire some random with a treadmill in a van so your dog can exercise.
no dude sometimes it is just nice to have this as an and addition to daily walks
