Lol I’m glad you enjoyed it .. and I know it’s hard to resist watching these performances bc we hype them up bc they really are just incredible and some of the best live performances I’ve ever seen!!! I just know that they hit so different when you kinda know the songs and concepts … it will make them even more enjoyable than they already are when you’ve got that knowledge under your belt! It makes the outfits and concepts for the stages make a lot more sense and easier to follow along … if that makes sense. You should watch their older music videos and dance practices maybe together in one video if you can handle a couple mvs and dance practices in one video of you want to shoot for long videos lol trust me… we love the long videos… if you put out 3 hour videos we would still ask for more lol if not the music videos and dance practices… then maybe “rise of bangtan” the docuseries on UA-cam bc it starts not just with bts pre debut and the old clips and interviews or video diary type things… but it gives some more insight into the Korean music industry and how it’s completely different from any I have seen before… gives a little background to how kpop started… who the major players are abs company’s… and why what bts has done for their country and culture is looked at as being very different from the norm there… or the norm in western culture…. It’s a must fo any baby army who don’t have a huge understanding of the Korean entertainment industry’s and culture…. This series has like 18 episodes that are like 40 ish minutes but it also has some bonus content for each episode …. But I hope to see you be able to see this stuff… the behind the scenes stuff of their journey… is mind boggling when you see them here today and who they have evolved into individually and as a group… and it shows how their company does things much differently than the other ones as well which is also such an important factor that can be hard to understand without seeing these types of things! Love to see it and love your journey!
Whenever I listen to BTS…I feel like a human again with all the complexities and emotions that aren’t normally present. No other artist does that…there is something so special and yet unexplainable. I have one word…..enigma. 💜💜💜

I totally recommend listening to more of their vast discography (literally hundreds of songs) before delving further into their MMA/MAMA performances specifically. When you can recognize the songs it just makes listening to them live that much better! 💜
For me it was more that even if I don't know the songs, I have to listen to them for the first time somewhere and what better place then their MMA performances ❤️❤️💜💜
@@GOTGames sometimes live performances have very different backing music or are modified in some way. Obviously do what you’d prefer:) but we hope you’ll still be reacting to the music videos etc of the actual songs. Also, when you ask if we want longer videos, we don’t always mean that the BTS video you’re watching needs to be long. You could pick a song, watch the MV for it, watch behind the scenes of the MV, a lyrics break down/explanation for the song, watch the dance practice for it, and then watch a live performance of the song and in the end have a reaction video that is nice and long with you coming out fully appreciating the song :) 💜

I actually agree with you. Either way I’m gonna still totally love and watch whatever Luke does. But I feel if he had known the songs and the lyrics beforehand, he’ll then have way better experience watching these shows and enjoy the BTS journey even more. Like IDOL for instance it has such empowering message behind it but you wouldn’t know if this performance is the first time listening to it xx
It personally offends me every time they don’t show the HEIGHT of Jimin’s high kick in the final chorus of Idol - please watch and appreciate it it other performances you see - he just gives 110% EVERY TIME 🤩 All of them are perfect always but that high kick steals my heart 💜
Every time I watch one of the MMA performances I’m so mad at how BAD the filming is. MMA is notorious for missing the best parts with their terrible camera work/choice of shots.
Since you’ve seen “Idol” now, you need to check out their performance on The TonightShow with Jimmy Fallon. They were on every night for five days with a different performance each night. The one for Idol was phenomenal!!! There’s also a video that explains all of the Korean symbolism in the Idol MV. SO MUCH CONTENT!
What amazes me is how all ages love their music. I am 62 years old and last June I had covid. I promised my granddaughter that I would look into their music and learn all about them. Having covid all I could do was lay around and listen to their music and watch Run BTS. I have listened to their music every day since then. Their talent is just so unbelievable! I know exactly how you feel. In 2017 I became army at the age of 47. I have found so many army and view them as life long friends. Don’t know how BTS did this, I love them and army unconditionally and will be living down this rabbit hole forever.

1. TBH, IDOL was not kinda my cup of tea when i listened it first. However, their live performance always makes the song better. After watching MMA 2018, IDOL performance automatically became one of my best recommendation for BTS beginners : ) 2. As you watched MMA 2019 and MMA 2018, I can't imagine any western award shows which can handle their stage like this. 3. Next, MAMA 2019 (N.O + We are bulletproof pt.2) is also gorgeous!!!!!

I feel the same way. I have never had a band make me feel like this. They are so amazing and versatile. They truly are unique and beautiful. I'm 43 years old, and I love them so much. I rarely listen to any other music. I can sing almost all of their songs.
This is so legendary, I'm crying thinking about how much they did, how hard they worked and how much they shared during these years with us💜 I'm so excited for their comeback and the title track "Yet to come"!! I think I might actually prefer 2018 to 2019. For me, it's just emblematic of everything that makes BTS so special. For longer videos, I'd recommend watching one of their reality shows such as Run BTS or Bon Voyage. And I will definitely be seeing you at the concert when that day finally comes!! 💜💜💜

Fun fact time: The lighted boxes at the start of Fake Love actually spell out the word PERSONA which was a big hint to their next album which was titled Map of the Soul: Persona. They're sneaky about giving hints about albums during these award shows and it's fun to go back later to see how they were there all along. This was my first series of award shows back in 2018 when I discovered the boys earlier that summer and I was blown away. I'd love to see them bring something like this to the American stage even though we got just a small snippet with their Grammy performance of Butter to prove that they're worth the hype. Airplane Pt 2 gives a nod toward Hobi's solo called Airplane where the verses are the same in each song and it was a fun way to include both bodies of work into one song. It was also pre-recorded to give them time to change and get the stage ready for that massive performance of Idol.

It’s so funny the guys mentioned in interviews and Vlives they don’t think their bodies will let them perform like this as they get older. But Psy who is in 40s just came back with an energetic performance just like this. That that is hard. I don’t mean to learn but to perform as much as they did throughout the day. So if he can do it so can our boys. I look forward to watching them perform in their 30s 40s 50s and beyond. They are just an amazing group of talented guys. I can’t even begin to imagine a world without these talented young men. I am so very grateful to experience their music and their presence in my lifetime. This is my fave BTS awards show performance bar none and then the intriguing version of the Rock version of Fake Love at Mama. Everyone always refers to the 2019 performance, but their homage to traditional Korean music and dance makes this my favorite.

Lol I’m glad you enjoyed it .. and I know it’s hard to resist watching these performances bc we hype them up bc they really are just incredible and some of the best live performances I’ve ever seen!!! I just know that they hit so different when you kinda know the songs and concepts … it will make them even more enjoyable than they already are when you’ve got that knowledge under your belt! It makes the outfits and concepts for the stages make a lot more sense and easier to follow along … if that makes sense. You should watch their older music videos and dance practices maybe together in one video if you can handle a couple mvs and dance practices in one video of you want to shoot for long videos lol trust me… we love the long videos… if you put out 3 hour videos we would still ask for more lol if not the music videos and dance practices… then maybe “rise of bangtan” the docuseries on UA-cam bc it starts not just with bts pre debut and the old clips and interviews or video diary type things… but it gives some more insight into the Korean music industry and how it’s completely different from any I have seen before… gives a little background to how kpop started… who the major players are abs company’s… and why what bts has done for their country and culture is looked at as being very different from the norm there… or the norm in western culture…. It’s a must fo any baby army who don’t have a huge understanding of the Korean entertainment industry’s and culture…. This series has like 18 episodes that are like 40 ish minutes but it also has some bonus content for each episode …. But I hope to see you be able to see this stuff… the behind the scenes stuff of their journey… is mind boggling when you see them here today and who they have evolved into individually and as a group… and it shows how their company does things much differently than the other ones as well which is also such an important factor that can be hard to understand without seeing these types of things! Love to see it and love your journey!

As many armies know, this performance was of course to celebrate Korean culture and music. BTS was critisized by some in Korea for being 'too westernized'. This was their response. Genius. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I totally recommend listening to more of their vast discography (literally hundreds of songs) before delving further into their MMA/MAMA performances specifically. When you can recognize the songs it just makes listening to them live that much better! 💜

Obviously do what you’d prefer:) but we hope you’ll still be reacting to the music videos etc of the actual songs.
Also, when you ask if we want longer videos, we don’t always mean that the BTS video you’re watching needs to be long.
You could pick a song, watch the MV for it, watch behind the scenes of the MV, a lyrics break down/explanation for the song, watch the dance practice for it, and then watch a live performance of the song and in the end have a reaction video that is nice and long with you coming out fully appreciating the song :) 💜

I actually agree with you. Either way I’m gonna still totally love and watch whatever Luke does. But I feel if he had known the songs and the lyrics beforehand, he’ll then have way better experience watching these shows and enjoy the BTS journey even more. Like IDOL for instance it has such empowering message behind it but you wouldn’t know if this performance is the first time listening to it xx

It personally offends me every time they don’t show the HEIGHT of Jimin’s high kick in the final chorus of Idol - please watch and appreciate it it other performances you see - he just gives 110% EVERY TIME 🤩 All of them are perfect always but that high kick steals my heart 💜

Since you’ve seen “Idol” now, you need to check out their performance on The TonightShow with Jimmy Fallon. They were on every night for five days with a different performance each night. The one for Idol was phenomenal!!! There’s also a video that explains all of the Korean symbolism in the Idol MV. SO MUCH CONTENT!
What amazes me is how all ages love their music. I am 62 years old and last June I had covid. I promised my granddaughter that I would look into their music and learn all about them. Having covid all I could do was lay around and listen to their music and watch Run BTS. I have listened to their music every day since then. Their talent is just so unbelievable! My husband, two daughters, and I have been to their concerts. Last year in LA and this year in Las Vegas. Incredible. Can’t wait for their next concert. When you watch this again - which I'm sure you will - note the words on the mirror in the MV at the beginning. The words say "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi". If you read it backwards it says "I show not your face but your heart's desire" . Also, Jimin was awarded a plaque in appreciation for his fan dance by the Kim Baek Bong Korean Fan Dance Conservation Society. It said "By having reinterpreted the beautiful Korean fan dance in a unique way, you have made a great contribution in raising the status and aesthetic value of the Korean fan dance globally.” 💜💜💜💜💜💜

I know exactly how you feel. In 2017 I became army at the age of 47. I have found so many army and view them as life long friends. Don’t know how BTS did this, I love them and army unconditionally and will be living down this rabbit hole forever.

1. TBH, IDOL was not kinda my cup of tea when i listened it first. However, their live performance always makes the song better. After watching MMA 2018, IDOL performance automatically became one of my best recommendation for BTS beginners : )
2. As you watched MMA 2019 and MMA 2018, I can't imagine any western award shows which can handle their stage like this.

I feel the same way. I have never had a band make me feel like this. They are so amazing and versatile. They truly are unique and beautiful. I'm 43 years old, and I love them so much. I rarely listen to any other music. I can sing almost all of their songs.

I think I might actually prefer 2018 to 2019. For me, it's just emblematic of everything that makes BTS so special. For longer videos, I'd recommend watching one of their reality shows such as Run BTS or Bon Voyage. And I will definitely be seeing you at the concert when that day finally comes!! 💜💜💜

This is absolutely my FAVORITE awards performance from them! Phenomenal, stunning, and so creative! NOBODY is or will ever be like them!
Fun fact time: The lighted boxes at the start of Fake Love actually spell out the word PERSONA which was a big hint to their next album which was titled Map of the Soul: Persona. They're sneaky about giving hints about albums during these award shows and it's fun to go back later to see how they were there all along. This was my first series of award shows back in 2018 when I discovered the boys earlier that summer and I was blown away. I'd love to see them bring something like this to the American stage even though we got just a small snippet with their Grammy performance of Butter to prove that they're worth the hype. Airplane Pt 2 gives a nod toward Hobi's solo called Airplane where the verses are the same in each song and it was a fun way to include both bodies of work into one song. It was also pre-recorded to give them time to change and get the stage ready for that massive performance of Idol.

It’s so funny the guys mentioned in interviews and Vlives they don’t think their bodies will let them perform like this as they get older. But Psy who is in 40s just came back with an energetic performance just like this. That that is hard. I don’t mean to learn but to perform as much as they did throughout the day. So if he can do it so can our boys. I look forward to watching them perform in their 30s 40s 50s and beyond. They are just an amazing group of talented guys.

I can’t even begin to imagine a world without these talented young men. I am so very grateful to experience their music and their presence in my lifetime. This is my fave BTS awards show performance bar none and then the intriguing version of the Rock version of Fake Love at Mama. Everyone always refers to the 2019 performance, but their homage to traditional Korean music and dance makes this my favorite.
They never fail to blow your mind huh? It's amazing how an artist can impact you so deeply! We can all relate. Do check out MMA 2020, it has THE MOST beautiful black swan intro ever!! You'll love it.
