I think it's safe to say that every human being should watch this. Paul, your book touched my life and wrecked my view of God, in the best possible way (I'm sure you get that a lot :) ). I've been thinking about all of this a lot. It's helped me realize a lot of areas in my life that need the healing of Papa's love. Thank you Paul for sharing your story and for writing that book. To the Praise of God's glory :)

What a wonderful story of God's healing transformation and restoration. Those saying you are a heretic, have never known pain or they're running away from it in the opposite direction. You are a gift to many.

This is so real! It's just amazing how God works in people's lives. In his deepest brokenness his wife told him that she would never believe anything that came out of his mouth again, yet it started him on a journey towards complete truth and transparency. We are all so afraid of brokenness and messes, especially in ourselves, but healing can only come when we face it square on. God has been bringing me back to my brokenness over and over and I keep running away, it's too scary to look at it and face it because I know how bad it is and I already don't like myself much. I thought William Paul Young was a heretic because he had God as a woman in The Shack. That was several years ago. God has brought me through many difficult experiences that have slowly torn down my wrong views on God, religion, and salvation, and I have realized that the God I had believed in was not God at all, it was a god created by religious people who wanted to have control over others. That god was a small god

I watched you share your life's story on Pure Passion. I wanted to thank you. I could relate and agree to what you shared. I myself have experienced the Fathers love and acceptance of me even in the mess. Since giving myself to Him I have felt the shame and fear being washed away everyday. He has given me a confidence I never had before. He gave me His word to stand on... Psalm 139:16. It became clear to me then that He had my back from the very beginning. I pray that people will flood the theaters to see the movie, "The Shack" and experience God's love. Mahalo and may our Heavenly Father continue to use you to help set His children free. V

Their were some significant moments and statements in the movie. In which a pain free life and realizing that the person in which inflicted pain hurt disappointment also at some point born perfection and through their horrors twisted into whom they were at the moment they hurt you your family etc.. We can so quickly view someone and categorize them as to our opinion of their validity of any grace we can bestow upon them. Which is so sad that in that our own suffering endures. If we can somehow each of us learn how to break the cycle of behavior which is learned through various ways often mislead by my opinion short of evil. We can change ourselves, help others, express and live a loving kind life. A world not some fairy tale but have the lack of a better word tools. To find love of ourselves others . Which i use my higher power not to offend . Sharing your story and without judgement of mine. Is a blessing. Not to judge by our differences but to cherish of the miracle we all can have of your example . Free will, trust, humility, grace, love, compassion many more . Thank you for sharing and your courage to do so .

What do think Paul Young think about Hell?
How do you interpret John 3:36??, which means that he will not see life and that the wrath of God remains in the one who does not obey the Son??.
According to 1 Peter 4:17, what happens to those who do not obey the Gospel?
And what about John 3:18? What does it mean to be condemned? And how does this relate to having been included?

Difficult for me to wrap my head around, "They didn't know what they were doing." Seems to me they knew they were locking children in a room with no bathroom, just among a thousand other things.
So many thousands of questions... I understand the necessity for forgiveness, but I do not understand the idea of saying people do evil out of ignorance.
And Abraham even knew as he was walking with his son, on some level... Amazing story.

The Pharisees thoughtfully plotted out Jesus' torture and death. The Romans carried it out by hand and mocked Him the whole way to His death. Half of the Jews who praised Him one day, mocked and tormented Him the next. They tore up and bid on His clothing, let a murderer go free in His stead, whipped Him, bruised Him, crowned Him with thorns, hung Him on a wooden cross, and shouted "His blood shall be upon and us and our children!".
Yet, Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
