so if I take this out I could just install another stereo ? I've been wanting to take the stock one out but I'm not sure if I'll need any extra wires
I guess the only required tool is the Philips screwdriver. I was able to pull out the clock with my bare hands.
Does this affect the anti theft device? I want to put an after market in but I’m not sure if the anti theft is within the car system itself or just the radio
The anti-theft code system is a feature in the stereo itself - so if you stole a stereo and put it in a different car, the stereo would not work until the code is entered.

great vid but to short :( , i have the same car my radio recently broke along with the lighter thingy , want to replace it but mine dosnt have a cd port the same exact one you have except it dosnt have cd , any radio suggestions ?
Were you able to check the fuse of the stereo? Usally the stereo and the lighter share the same fuse. Check the fuse before replacing stereo. Get a stereo based on your needs from Sony or pioneer for example Nav, Bluetooth, Aux input, or USB drive input
connectedcaraudio yup it worked found a bunch of other fuses broke as well , I wanted to ask you my radio fuse is brown 10v i cant find brown 10v can put a blue 10v?
Mohammed Blaze the color of the fuse does not matter only the amp rating so if you have a 10 amp fuse for the radio only replace with a ten amp
