For those that consider doing this type of spiked tires.. consider following: Have you ever gotten road rash.. now try that in speeds of excess of 250km/h witch that rear tire is going with out resistance if it hits your flesh, but even better traction that concrete or pavement...now consider you have turned your tires into meatgrinder with hardened steel spikes.... Yeah so if you do this be careful not to get hit, or hit anyone or anything with it. Another thing to consider is that spike tires generally suck at non icy pavement surface, so this is mostly for off roading or on very snowy surfaces but not salted roads. Know the guy who runs spikes whole winter and drives it as his daily but he runs spikes only when its icy enough and swaps back to normal studs when snow starts to melt cause spikes are so slippery on hard surfaces that are not ice. I'l be doing this to my winter bike but its just a transport, not a toy. Also wtf while it was cool looking to see bike fly, least gather up some snow for it to land intact ffs..
