I'm confused. The black panther doesn't seem to be a Jaguar but a Leopard. I'm I wrong or right? Can they make hybrid babies?
It is definitely a Jaguar. Panthers are just melanistic (black) big cats like leopards and jaguars. The babies wouldn't be hybrid because they are both Jaguars.
@@bambisco7056 I know all black big cats are panthers. Read again. The black cat seems to be a leopard looking at it's spots design and the length of it's tail which is absolutely not a jaguars tail. EDIT: I did some searching and indeed she is a jaguar with an exceptional long tail.
@@PietroCozziTinin Ahh I can see what you mean. For a Jaguar, her tail is quite long and she looks pretty slender but they wouldn't mix the two species. And the size of her jaw is a dead giveaway that she is indeed a Jaguar.
@@bambisco7056 Let's hope the op can give some clarity here. I know my cats and never ever sae a jaguar with such a long tail.
