I feel this sets a new bar for Lego houses in compactly capturing the "feel" of its subject matter. All the details, especially enough beds for all 3 minifigs (which they don't provide enough in the Friends house series) is something I hope Lego will hold to in all future house sets. Thanks Jang for going through this in detail for us.
What I like about the side builds of the toys as an homage to lego sets is they're from different eras (kinda) Wolfpack Renegades (6038) released in 1992, close to 1990 Granite Grinder (4940) released in 1999, close to 2000 and the turn of the century. Gateway of the Squid (8061) released in 2010. Don't know about the RC car or what it's based on but the sets the other 3 are based on are pretty chronologically diverse.
Thank you Jang! Glad you are doing the alternate builds. These creator 3 in 1 builds are the best to do MOC for Lego cities. I wish we saw more of these sets.
The inclusion of the spark arrestor on the chimney was a nice touch. It caught my eye as the one on the house I live in got blown off yesterday due to the wind.
This set is a lot better than I thought based on your preview video. It's larger than I thought and has a lot packed into it. The dish soap bottle is genius. I never would've thought of that haha. That kid has a lot of toys! I wouldn't have guessed some are based off LEGO sets. Makes more sense than him having a remote control kraken-bot haha. So yeah I may actually seriously consider getting this set at some point. I like having civilian structures, houses especially.
I think the last "toy" is a carriage of sorts (maybe evem the Wolfpack Renegade - since they already teased the return of the wolfpack in the huge lion knights' castle).
Downtown Noodle Shop and this set are solid. This does look to have a bit more mass, so the price makes more sense given it was $45 for the shop. Super easy buy whenever this gets discounted to $50. Love the little snail build.
In my country (the netherlands) the lego sets are almost always sold under official Lego prices. I wonder how that is in other countries? A quick search and this set is 45 to 50 euros here. Will probably be on sale at some point too. I'm glad tho! Looove 3 in 1 houses.
As an AFOL, what I really desire is a series of mini-modular buildings, which quality is right in the middle point of this house and the actual modulars, priced at 100€ each. That would be the dream because I could afford one each couple of months and they would fit perfectly in my shelves.
The last 'toy' build looks like a horse and wagon to me. Maybe 6038 Wolfpack Renegades, as that has a blue wagon and black horse, with a brown chest on top.
This set reminds me of a set my brother had in the early 80s. Set 376, townhouse with garden. There are many similarities (and differences) but it does illicit a sense of nostalgia. I think I might have to invest in this one. Thank you for sharing.
while i'm not sure which one it is specifically, i'd say the unidentified side build would be based on some form of old castle carriage set, brown wheels combined with what kind of looks like a horse makes it seem that way
Awesome set, and a definitive review as always. I personally prefer the buildings opening like this, as opposed to the removal of floors. Far better for play and interacting with the interior imo.
Wow that set looks so good. The design and the colours are really eye catching and the fact it closes up is really great. Can't wait to see the other builds.
Finished this build yesterday. Really enjoyable but I was a bit confused by some of the tiny builds… had to search build videos to get some ideas as to what they might be. Thanks for the heads up on the snail😅
I’d like to pick out the same pieces but in different colors with some extra special parts to build a run down haunted house version of this set. Frame looks great!
I just bought and build this set, it’s very cute. The snail is my favorite! I had to watch a review to understand those three little things. Now I know!
I do love the colours of the set. It's quite a nice little set. Not sure I'll get it though as I'd probably rather use it as inspiration for a MOC house instead
Awesome. Btw you wondering whether those black columns are just that - I think not - observe the top floor where a hanging piece below the gutter is representing a smallish pipe to feed the rainwater into the gutter below. Clever. I Love this one without complains. I might even get it now that I had a closer look :)
That mysterious “maybe loader toy of sorts” reminded me of a little project I did as a small kid. I had this little wooden horse on wheels. Suffice to say it took obscene amount of plasticine to turn it into stegosaurus on wheels with mixed success (fell apart quickly, you guessed it). This one may as well be a little blue dragon on wheels spitting fire at a command of tiny sheep operator sitting inside (a la troyan horse) who is well hidden behind lack of detail.
The best answer I’ve heard for that last toy side build is that it’s a horse and cart from Castle 6038: Wolfpack Renegades, or something similar. Edit: I checked but didn’t notice a few people have shared this info already. My bad
thnk you so much for making this video! it made me realise I accidently forgot to build the little stools round the table, which made me realise I placed a red round tile in the wring place which made me realise I placed a brown tile where a purple one shouldve gone, so I've just fixed everything lol, thanks!
Jang, what is your opinion on the placement of the bird house? I feel that the other upper face of the house is a bit bare. I’m thinking either to move the birdhouse to the other side, or add some kind window to fill it in a bit.
It would have been cool if the little yellow castle could have been in the child’s room like in the Queens Castle. My child would like to put that together as another house in her collection. She would love the mailbox as she likes mailing letters for some reason. Some of the interior items would end up in her own builds as well. Enjoyed the video, keep up the great work.
A Lego creator 3-1 house set from the mid 30-50 buck price range 🙂 All three builds are great and if you have money to burn it's worth getting multiple. 😀 It has a micro scale Rock Raiders set reference. 🤯 Lego, you absolute mad lads.😅
When I look at it I would say $50, but I would also say that it is only 600 pieces, so I think the price is understandable. Lego is nowadays much more compact, and therefore more expensive per seize uinit.
Hey jang! Could you maybe review one of the BIG classic sets Lego makes? 1,000 pieces+? I think it's something that's missing on youtube, especially to see what you can build out of such a box to understand if it's a set that's worth it for a kid or not.
The one thing that made me go 'Huh?' with this set is the brick built cat. Why not just add the minifigure sized cat piece Lego has? I just thought it a bit odd. Also, I wonder if Lego are using Creator house sets to infill gaps in the City line?
YES! This is basically a very good dollhouse. Thank you, Lego, for inventing the coolest doll ever, the Mini-Figure, and making great houses for them. And to all the people who tried to impecuniate my boyhood love for dollhouses, I say thpthpttptthhfftthtppt. 🤓🤣
The house is great. I really just have one gripe with it, and that's, like with any of the recent 3 in 1 houses, the fact that it hinges open, which makes it really difficult to integrate into a city. I'd much pefer one solid base plate and a detachable roof. Other than that, they knocked it out of the park. For a build of this size I really couldn't ask for more detail.
Hiii, i came back watching your videos, and i just found out that you moved to this channel. Sorry for what happen, but what you're doing right now is amazing. Continue doing what you love!
That snail is the best side build I've seen in years.
Alludes the return of Mr. Snail (an early mascot character from Lego creator)
They made Gary from Spongebob in almost the same way, but yeah, it’s pretty great
Similar build to Gary
We really need more sets like this. I miss the creator house sets
I like how dense and full the house feels. like a small & cluttered family home. it's lovely
I think the mysterious side-build is supposed to represent set 6038, an old wolfpack horse with carriage ( 6:57 )
Yep, I own this set, instantly recognizeable
Ooh, good eye. I wouldn't have guessed that but the color scheme and shaping definitely fits that pretty perfectly.
Definitely the right colors
thats 100% what it is considering all the other side builds are lego sets
This is such a lovely set, and the Granite Grinder micro build is genius! Plays on my nostalgia strings beautifully!
I feel like creator, three and one is already best sets for the money but also they are well thought out sets
This year they’ve outdone themselves
Friends is the same! Both fantastic themes when it comes to value for what you get.
What I like about the side builds of the toys as an homage to lego sets is they're from different eras (kinda)
Wolfpack Renegades (6038) released in 1992, close to 1990

I INSTANTLY recognized that little model of the Rock Raiders Granite Grinder. Fantastic detail.
The inclusion of the spark arrestor on the chimney was a nice touch. It caught my eye as the one on the house I live in got blown off yesterday due to the wind.
This set is really nice, I'm glad it has a really complete and playable interior and just overall looks really great.
This is in the early running for my 2023 Set of the Year. I just love it.
This set is great, Lego needs to make more creator 3 in 1 houses like they used to.
I think the remote control car is also referencing an old set
So adorable! and $60 isn’t terrible…
This is on my 'to buy' list for this year, it has everything I like about lego houses.
Building houses is one of my favorite things to do with LEGO, I hope I can have it
This is one of the 3-in-1 creator set of 2023 that I've been wanting to buy.
This set is a lot better than I thought based on your preview video. It's larger than I thought and has a lot packed into it.
The dish soap bottle is genius. I never would've thought of that haha.

I’m in love with the little Rock Raiders Granite Grinder!
Thanks for a great review Jang. Now I want a blue flight jacket, with the classic space logo and a set of wings on it.
Can't wait for the other builds reviews ! Thank you so much for all these amazing reviews.
Have to build those mini builds myself
In my country (the netherlands) the lego sets are almost always sold under official Lego prices. I wonder how that is in other countries? A quick search and this set is 45 to 50 euros here. Will probably be on sale at some point too.
I'm glad tho! Looove 3 in 1 houses.
The box on the top floor is a cat bed and cat tower.
For the garbage bin, where I live the recycling bins have a yellow lid and garbage has a green lid
Great review, as always Jang! Thanks

I have VIP I should have pre-ordered this is backordered 2 months now 😂 didn't realize this would be so popular.
That rockraiders mini build is awesome - I didnt know it was involved. That was one of my first sets.
I’d like to pick out the same pieces but in different colors with some extra special parts to build a run down haunted house version of this set. Frame looks great!
Great review! Thank you!
I just bought and build this set, it’s very cute. The snail is my favorite! I had to watch a review to understand those three little things. Now I know!

The house looks good, side builds look a bit random. The kid has more toys than house has floor space.
I hope this is still available at retail in a couple months when I have extra Lego money again
If it makes you feel any better, it is EIGHTY-NINE dollars in Australia 😮
4:20 Gary has returned.
Nice set. I am between this and the noodle shop.....
This looks really nice! Love the furniture!

Very cool house, great review Jang!

Edit: I checked but didn’t notice a few people have shared this info already. My bad
Having just gotten into Gunpla, its weird going back to Jang videos now knowing what those weird robots are.
I personally really like this set definitely going to pick it up for my city!
Looks like a really nice set.
thnk you so much for making this video! it made me realise I accidently forgot to build the little stools round the table, which made me realise I placed a red round tile in the wring place which made me realise I placed a brown tile where a purple one shouldve gone, so I've just fixed everything lol, thanks!
This is a really lovely set. I can imagine kids enjoying this and all the details.
I love this house. Makes me happy :D
Excited to see the other 2 options! They look nice
Speaking of Rivendell… I’d love to see your review of it! I understand if it’s too expensive though
Jang, what is your opinion on the placement of the bird house? I feel that the other upper face of the house is a bit bare. I’m thinking either to move the birdhouse to the other side, or add some kind window to fill it in a bit.
Wow this is more detailed and alive than I expected

Just got this set a few days ago and it is gorgeous! Would recommend for anyone looking for a cozy house lol
Just great. LEGO is making some great sets. Really giving maximum playability for cheap. Love it.
I love that snail 🤌🏻
I'd really like to see this next to the Surfer Beach House to decide how good or bad its value is
2 of these combined together would be sweet
A Lego creator 3-1 house set from the mid 30-50 buck price range
🙂
All three builds are great and if you have money to burn it's worth getting multiple.
😀
It has a micro scale Rock Raiders set reference.
🤯
Lego, you absolute mad lads.😅
What an adorable set!
Maybe get 2 and hinge the base
Thanks for the vid! This is a really impressive set to me.
Nice detailed review A beautiful open-back house.
An amazing set for the city builders who can’t get the 250-300 creator sets, or both lol, great detail with bed space for full family👍👍
A new house! Let’s gooo!
I'm surprised you didn't mention your previous youtube history when you pointed out the RC controller.
When I look at it I would say $50, but I would also say that it is only 600 pieces, so I think the price is understandable. Lego is nowadays much more compact, and therefore more expensive per seize uinit.
40 euros now, def will pick it up! Great reviews!
Isent the mini car a reference to samething too?
So that's a toy box in the kid's room?! I was trying to work out what it was! What's the purple thing next to the toybox meant to be?
Hi, how do I know the answer to fix the problem of the roof?I tried to attach it but only one side is fixed. The other side can’t be attached. 😢
Hey jang! Could you maybe review one of the BIG classic sets Lego makes? 1,000 pieces+? I think it's something that's missing on youtube, especially to see what you can build out of such a box to understand if it's a set that's worth it for a kid or not.
oh thats a pretty cool hyaku shiki
No desire to own it but great set, it’s comforting.
What a lovely set, so much detail.
The snail is trying to get me in the Lego sets now 🌚
Is it a stagecoach?
I thought that last side build was like a train lol but a front loader seems more reasonable
it's like the disney Up house lego set but redone as a nice creator set
The one thing that made me go 'Huh?' with this set is the brick built cat. Why not just add the minifigure sized cat piece Lego has? I just thought it a bit odd. Also, I wonder if Lego are using Creator house sets to infill gaps in the City line?

Excellent review, thanks. I don't own any 3-in-1 houses yet. This might be the one. :)
What is Garry doing on the roof ?
You can say anything about Lego, but they do can make small builds look good.
oh theres a scratching post for the cat in the kids room
The bot is definitely an Exocomp from star trek TNG. It may have developed sentience.
Hiii, i came back watching your videos, and i just found out that you moved to this channel. Sorry for what happen, but what you're doing right now is amazing. Continue doing what you love!
A great normal house!
It reminds me of an english style house
Nice build for $60. Not a lot of good house/buildings for that price today across any licenses I believe.
