I said this after the Wolves match and I’m going to repeat it again. In all seriousness, any United fans out there who think a relegation battle isn’t a real possibility need to seriously wake up and fully accept this squad is trash. If United do not start winning Premier League matches ASAP the club is going to get dragged into the relegation battle within a matter of a few matches. Because Palace, Everton, Wolves, Ipswich, and Leicester all are going to keep catching up very quickly if United do not start winning. And anyone who actually thinks Amorim is safe needs to wake up. INEOS sacked Ashworth after only five months. United are seriously looking at losing six straight matches going into Southampton on January 16th. And if United somehow can’t even beat Southhampton, it’s open season for Amorim as much as I want the club to actually commit to him long term.
The relegation battle will most likely start after February, if United are still down there, which is a real possibility, then they'll absolutely be in one. And with Ipswich winning against Chelsea today, united better start looking over their shoulder. Having said that, I don't think United will go down.

What a brilliant post match press conference by Amorim, back this man. Completely sat down comments he should change his system by saying the players sacked a manager playing a different system. Highlighting again where the problem lies.
If ineos do not BACK this manager and help him out when he said he would be better coming in the summer and stay at sporting. At the very least they need to do some interviews and take the heat of him it's a joke that he has to defend his system when they knew he played like that
Why are people saying Amorim should change the style to suit the players? Why do the players always have to be protected? It’s almost like the players are the manager and not the manager himself. This isn’t a daycare, this is the premier league and you’re being paid 300k a week so you need to find a way to adapt to a new system.
Hojlund and this service myth, Hojlund doesn't make the intelligent runs you'd normally see from a Top finisher, if a 9 makes runs chances are people will see the runs and make a pass especially when you have people like Casemiro in the Team who love when players make those runs cause he'll just hit the ball in front of them.
But we don't give our forwards service though. We barely cross. We're non existent on set pieces and outside of the Martinez assist to Amad's derby winner, i haven't seen a decent ball over the top from anyone in that squad in ages.
@thembelamawelela9821 bruh every former striker has said that he doesn't get service and he gets amongst the least amount of passes for any striker in the league!😂
Agreed we’ve bought injury prone, too old, untested, lazy, rubbish and too young players, but to think that starting line up had a chance was the most shocking team selection I have ever seen at OT in 40 years. The manager shouldn’t change his core ideas, but at least show he can adapt a little from game to game, everyone knew this midfield would be overrun before we kicked off, that’s the most worrying part of the whole evening.
Yep , I'll be in the middle of the Yorkshire dales on Sunday with my misses and dogs , pop into a pub get Sunday lunch, and fall asleep on the sofa after that
Why won’t Amorim put a left footed player in LWB. Surely Malacia or Antony wouldn’t be much worse than Dalot currently, and they’d also add more balance to the team.
@@JuliaRichardsplayers are not bigger than the club. They should not have to call the shots on who'll come to manage. You work with whoever enters the door. If you like it, Great! If you don't, then leave and make way for other players who want to play for the manager.
@alexs818,I couldn't agree more but this is a Glazer club/business and this is exactly how they like to run things. A business is only as good as the man at the top. The sooner they disappear the better.
I wouldn't mind the club getting relegated if that means the deep-rooted issues with this club are finally addressed. This is going to be a painful road to recovery, made more difficult by years of neglect and mismanagement by incompetent owners. I hope fans are all well aware of the fact that there is no more papering over the cracks, that there is nowhere for anyone to hide. The Glazers are the ones to blame, and it is not going to be easy to undo their damage on this once-great football institution.
I support Arsenal but I can’t remember a time United had a lower talent level in their squad. You can’t even do the basics like build an attack or defend as a team. It’s surreal.
The 343 system he plays is one of the best I've seen in modern football. If you know you know. The amount of chances it creates, overloads in all spaces on the pitch, creates triangles and is very good to press with. THESE PLAYERS NEED TO TAKE MORE RESPONSIBILITY. Only one good question in the post match, but Ruben still protects the players which is amacable. I love this manager! I love this system, get these players out!
Forget the result, our job on Sunday is to take out Salah and Van Dijk for the rest of the season. I want to see us flying into tackles at every opportunity.
343 formation last worked in the premier league in 2015 under conte. There is a reason teams don't use it often. It has massive weaknesses that can be easily exploited. Its strength is in quick transitions which United doesn't do

in retrospect and its easy to say now you should have kept Moyes for a few years just to stabilize things. Sure you might have had some poor disappointing seasons and played boring football but better in the long run to have kept him, let things settle down and carefully chose the next manager from being a club finishing 5th to 10th under Moyes.

I find it informative, it encourages debate and is all based upon the simple principal that we all want utd to win. But what really makes me laugh is your analogies, they have me laughing hard and are nearly as good as mine 😂😂😂
The fact we are all speaking about a relegation battle is crazy. Well I said it few months ago. Sacking ETH was a mistake because although we didn’t want to say it we might have finished 6-8 because the new players would have stepped up for him and RVN in the background could get the players going. Right now the same truths we know are true today look at Casemiro…..
This is a group of players that probably want change (hence sacking of ETH) but are unwilling to adapt to the change. They like playing their own way but when told play a certain way, a different way, they reject it. They are currently rejecting Anorim. Utd are playing square pegs in round hole. Anyone who felt Anorim was going to bring a change are wrong, we are better off sticking with ETH
We’ve got to have the guts to mutually terminate player contracts when necessary. Just go for it. If certain players can’t find a club willing to sign them and decide they’re fine with being benchwarmers because they’re enjoying those sweet weekly wages, then what are we even doing? It’s time to take action!
Why didn't Liverpool go with Amorim? Ask yourself that......Ruud did better with this bunch of players....yes players are shite...but this manager shouldn't be hero worshiped this blindly.....he didn't do himself any favours yesterday

The Saudi PIF are determined to sign Casemiro in January and Casemiro is open to the move.
Agreed, fans should be ashamed of themselves.
I hate watching mediocre performances
Your analogies are spot on tho mark 👊👊👊👊👊👊
Maybe manioo but he has a pass as he’s very young and on the brink of hit or miss under the pressure of world class football
saying eth had no tactics is bs the players show there true colours
ETH signed half of this squad though
@@InbarajSuppiah im not saying thats not true but somehow the players that were there for years infected them i dunno how tho but everyone can see the players downtooling when they do that they are letting the club the fans and the manager how they dont see that

No it's not a fact at all yet. But it will be if this carries on much past January.

Ricky rated mctominay, I don’t hear a word that man says and takes it seriously
Ricky is just like anyone else. Some bad analysis some good analysis
Well napoli are 2nd in the league so can’t be that bad of player
Btw Ricky has now said last night erikson changed the game not Mainoo
What a brilliant post match press conference by Amorim, back this man. Completely sat down comments he should change his system by saying the players sacked a manager playing a different system. Highlighting again where the problem lies.
If ineos do not BACK this manager and help him out when he said he would be better coming in the summer and stay at sporting. At the very least they need to do some interviews and take the heat of him it's a joke that he has to defend his system when they knew he played like that
Amorim should go back to Portugal and enjoy his life
😂😂😂 Supports United and Sevco 😂😂😂
Amorim IN..
Onana, Zirkzee, Dalot, Rashford, Mount, Casimero, Erikson, Martinez, Malacia, Antony, Shaw, Evens, Lindelof and Bruno OUT!
You want to get rid of Martínez because he had a bad half season but you’d keep Bruno?
@@mufchungary5931 Yes and Bruno. Martinez is not for the system
Bruno ??
Hojlund too, I'm bored of pretending he's not below average...
No one is mentioning Maguire 🤔
Young lad being poorly educated
lol Casemiro couldn’t complete a forward pass today to save his life. Bold of you to assume it would be any different.
@sechabatheletsane9784 People don't make passes to stationary number 9s, you have to initiate the move.
So who should he have chosen out of all those players? The only one he could have possibly selected was Mainoo. So what is this overreaction?
Adapt how?
Also why would any players sign for Man Utd in jan, with being in 14th in the table. played 19, only won 6 games and lost 9
cus they give out high wages to players who belong in championship
Go for a long afternoon walk next sunday afternoon somewhere with no cell coverage 😂

@@BlackMamba-pv8emMO Salah tripple captain you say? 🤣🤣😂
Why won’t Amorim put a left footed player in LWB. Surely Malacia or Antony wouldn’t be much worse than Dalot currently, and they’d also add more balance to the team.
malacia was not good when he got his chances. It could be coming back from injury but either way there’s no ideal solution right now
Malacia can't cope, and we don't have footed LB. Antony can't run back or tackle
Unfortunately we’ve already seen it and it’s not any better whatsoever
Bring Nuno Mendes to Man United and you will get the right guy. Right or left.

@JuliaRichards Because Ruud is there friend and they can do what they want
I wouldn't mind the club getting relegated if that means the deep-rooted issues with this club are finally addressed. This is going to be a painful road to recovery, made more difficult by years of neglect and mismanagement by incompetent owners. I hope fans are all well aware of the fact that there is no more papering over the cracks, that there is nowhere for anyone to hide. The Glazers are the ones to blame, and it is not going to be easy to undo their damage on this once-great football institution.
💔💔😪 You're right,well said.
I support Arsenal but I can’t remember a time United had a lower talent level in their squad. You can’t even do the basics like build an attack or defend as a team. It’s surreal.
It’s bloody great is what it is
The 343 system he plays is one of the best I've seen in modern football.
😅🤣
💀💀
Sacking Ten Hag was maybe not so smart.
343 formation last worked in the premier league in 2015 under conte. There is a reason teams don't use it often. It has massive weaknesses that can be easily exploited. Its strength is in quick transitions which United doesn't do
That’s why we get the players to do those quick transitions
Quick transitions were the last good thing united had under ole. Who knew that would have been a relative high point?
eddie howe and newcastle had a terrible last season, had a bad start this season but they backed him(fans also) and continued the process, now doing great again.Should've let erik continue this season if the excuse gonna be "it's his players"

One of your best after shows Mark. Come on United
This has been coming for a few seasons now because no one would step in to halt the decline that began when Ferguson retired.
I said a couple of seasons ago if the slide wasn't halted we would be in danger of relegation and was laughed at....well here it is
in retrospect and its easy to say now you should have kept Moyes for a few years just to stabilize things. Sure you might have had some poor disappointing seasons and played boring football but better in the long run to have kept him, let things settle down and carefully chose the next manager from being a club finishing 5th to 10th under Moyes.
Get ready for championship football next season

Any manager who joins a new organization should not change the system right away. He must bring changes gradually. This is true to football also.
Eddie Howe came in and changed it after putty face had ruined Newcastle
Absolute nonsense

Shouldn't have bullied Jose mourinho out. Imagine jose is still in charge of united up till now. Mark said Jose mourinho never played united ways, pogba disrespected Jose and fans joined to bullied Jose out. Hope united are playing united ways now 😂😂

Ive been watching since nov 2019 and a member for over 4 yrs. The content you and the team put out is very good quality. I find it informative, it encourages debate and is all based upon the simple principal that we all want utd to win. But what really makes me laugh is your analogies, they have me laughing hard and are nearly as good as mine 😂😂😂
Clear out the whole squad and bring in the youth team. They can't do any worse. Players like Shea Lacey need an opportunity to showcase their talent.
Why does he do player ratings saying 6 is the average? 5 is the average ffs.
Going into 2025, *CONGRATULATIONS UNITED STAND TWO MILLION SUBSCRIBERS HEADING INTO TWENTY TWENTY FIVE!!!*
People actually thought sacking the manager would fix the problem, its clear to me these players aren't good enough and we need to get rid
Statues could've played better than Casemiro and Eriksen.
Get them out they are done
Your Spot on Mark !!
I love Amorim, justice for our manager
This is a group of players that probably want change (hence sacking of ETH) but are unwilling to adapt to the change. They like playing their own way but when told play a certain way, a different way, they reject it. They are currently rejecting Anorim. Utd are playing square pegs in round hole. Anyone who felt Anorim was going to bring a change are wrong, we are better off sticking with ETH
They were probably hoping for a soft touch like Ole to come in. And let them do what they want as usual.
We’ve got to have the guts to mutually terminate player contracts when necessary. Just go for it. If certain players can’t find a club willing to sign them and decide they’re fine with being benchwarmers because they’re enjoying those sweet weekly wages, then what are we even doing? It’s time to take action!
What I would expect is that the manager NOT throw the towel in before a ball was kicked. Casemiro and Erikson.
Why didn't Liverpool go with Amorim? Ask yourself that......Ruud did better with this bunch of players....yes players are shite...but this manager shouldn't be hero worshiped this blindly.....he didn't do himself any favours yesterday
Said it 18 months ago - MU are a mid league team, was mistaken think they a bottom 5 if they play well - if not regulation looms
Disgusting team of players - not worthy of premiership soccer status
People need to understand that it's impossible to fix all the problems that this club created over the past 10 years in just one month
Had Casemiro converted that chance in the first half, we could’ve opened up the game more in the second half. not blaming individuals, i just think rotten players have infected our better players (maz, amad, de ligt). you cannot blame amorim for this.
you can a bit, who thought it would be a good idea to completely change the system midway through the season and expect this not to happen?
@@muckymoe5619we massively overpay for every player. Therefore we should have some of the most versatile players out there. We didn’t really have a plan under Ten Hag anyways. They have no excuse to adapt, it’s the players fault at this point and no one else’s (other than ownership).
