My daughter and I rode this 6 times in a row at closing time!! A fun ride!! In the evening it’s even darker inside which makes it more suspenseful. We noticed different scenes in the themery each ride. So fun to ride by ourselves. Employees added to the rise.. they were great!
I don't think I need to overhaul I think the cool part about it is that it's so old and like yeah it probably gets repainted a lot and the animatronics need a lot of maintenance but if they keep it as it is it's way better than anything that has been updated cuz when things like this have so many good childhood memories or attached to it nobody wants it to be updated really. Kind of like splash mountain like sure it might have been problematic but it's so nostalgic that it was a little heartbreaking for a lot of people When they switched it up.
0:37 Does anyone remember the Global Village (Everland) Theme that played from 1992 to 2002 being played in this scene, or is this a different piece of audio?
I haven't been since like 2007 but is it just me or did they update the exterior of it. I remember it being in sort of like a little cul-de-sac next to the thing that demonstrated how to do lysoap and also a show amphitheater where we saw someone who was like a bird of pre-handler but anyway it was kind of a quiet part of the park and of course this ride will always be so underrated and it's good to scare your mom who hates roller coasters. It's such a goddamn classic and even myself who is scared of no roller coaster ever, It's really good animatronics and scenery rivaling Disney and I remember I went on like three times in a row and the rest of the people with me were like come on let's go!!! It will always be one of my favorites. It's quite a unique theme for a ride. ❤
Yeah but the good part about it is it's mostly pretty chill except for the couple of drops so it's not that big of a problem I don't think. My home park is magic mountain and we have X2 and it's only about 25 years old but it's super jerky it'll kill your calves and your neck.
I can't really tell what the theme is supposed to be. It's too dark, and with no scenes I recognize. Maybe put in a few words about what it's supposed to be.
I haven't been there since '07 and I recognize pretty much all of it. The whole theme is that this southern mining town is burning down in like the 1800s

Looks classic and fun!! Nice video!
Needs an overhaul like fire in the hole at silver dollar city
Haven't been on that one yet. I didn't know what to expect on this. It had a very old dark ride feel to it, which I loved.
No it doesn’t need an overhaul
Half the fun of Blazing Fury is because it’s so old.

I have no idea. This was my first trip to Dollywood. I rode this ride more than anything else by far. I loved it!
It was sooo much fun!! Not scary just fun!!
Fun ride but the oldest one in the park, so it jerks you around.
I enjoyed it the most of all the attraction in the park. I like the mix of coaster and dark ride.

Was that it? lol Looks fun but thought maybe that was just a few scenes before a launch coaster. Still cute though.
thisi s the exact opposite of a launch coaster lmao

In real life, you'd be just as confused. It's a great ride, though.
It’s country/mine theme. After the fountain area it drops. Not scary but a ball of fun!!
