    I could use some help with this related question:
    Whenever I buy a new RC car I get rid of the provided transmitter and receiver, and I bind it to my Flysky radio instead. So far, so good. But as soon as I set up the transmitter I need to input an operating frequency for the employed servo. And most of the times there is no information provided on this. Not even when looking online for the spec sheet of an original replacement servo.
    What do you do in such case? I don't want to set the operating frequency lower than necessary and thereby making it slower, and I don't want to fry the servo by setting the frequency too high. But I also don't want to replace a brand new servo with another one with known parameters.
    So what would be a way to figure out the exact operating frequency of a servo to input in the transmitter settings? 🧑🏻‍🔧
    I assume I am not the only person with this problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I recently had a motor fan wire split the rubber coating on both the positive and negative wires were exposed. I thought my esc died it wouldn't boot. I found it and works just as It did. I'm suprised it didn't kill the bec

    When running wires/cables, don't force things. You are not fishing for marlin. That is how the heat shrink probably shifted, during install or maintenance. Anybody that has had to e-solder and re-wired things know It takes a lot of force to remove properly installed heat shrink.

      Sometimes I add a dab of CA after shrinking to lock the shrink in place. Or use Permatex liquid electrical tape. Both are a messed for rework but great otherwise.

      Haha, not fishing for marlin over here.
      I have also placed a dab of glue on heatshrink in the past. Especially on battery connectors that required heat shrink to be used. But this is very different from the y cable that sits in a wide open cable tray.
