Hey, how did you activate the end point and mid point and intersection points which gets detected when the mouse is over it? Starting at 12:43

Hi Chris, I am looking for the name of the command that makes the drawing area larger? ie. zooming in and out on larger scale drawings

Im getting pretty frustrated with fixing all the buttons and tools at the top of my autocad program. i have been using 2014 for a year and when i got the new 2015 version, for some reason after one day of using it, all the expanded chioces of the drawing tools went away. it may sound confusing. my program only shows be the large buttons, (draw, modify, layers, ect.) i can get to the options under those buttons unless i click on them and then it opens another window so i can use things like: line, circle, arc. im sure there is a way to adjust the tool bar so that it shows me all the options before, but i cant for the life of me figure it out. do you think you could help me out?

I really like your videos. But I think you should right a description on what you talk about in each video. I'm completely new to AutoCAD. I got AutoCAD 2015 also. 3 years free for being a student. I'm currently in regular drafting but my teacher introduced me to AutoCAD because I can draft anything you put in front of me and I'm slowly learning at this program. This is only my second day using AutoCAD I learned a lot of basic stuff so far. I subscribed but please put a DESCRIPTION on what you talk about in the videos!!!!

Hi.. Great set of videos with amazing description. I wanted to ask you a simple question. Is there a method to ungroup the polyline to individual lines?

Besides the description. Do you have a video on how to do threads??? My teacher is stumped on how to do this. On school computers I sort of figured it out but on my computer the command that I can not remember is not available.

Also a video on dimensioning and projection lines. I need help on those. Your videos are the only clear videos I can find that actually helps.

***** well on our school computers there is a thread command. Then u choose internal or external then what size of threads then u pick the centers. It eliminated the process of making a helix and then a triangle and the sweep command.

I can't figure out a very basic thing... my drawing window won't zoom back as far as yours; in other words, when I draw a shape of the same dimensions, I am sometimes too close to be able to see the entire object. When I try to zoom back, it says "Already zoomed out as far as possible." It's driving me crazy.

Tony Leonard you can also use the regenerate command to get you out of this at any point. Going to zoom extents obviously works, but then zooms to the "extents" of your model space. If you don't want that to happen, you can type "RE" in the command line and hit enter. It will then release that lock on your zooming capabilities without having to zoom out to the extents of the page.
