Yeah, I do like keeping things as original as possible. Half of the stuff is still original in the system right now. I don't think I'm going to replace the heat detector, I think it's one of those mechanical ones with the solder in the middle that melts and sucks the disc in, so I think there really is no need to replace it if it's one of those kinds. It's better than one of those electronic ones, I'm sure. I did look up the model on the manufacturer's website and it appears they stopped making it.
@@seantheenthusiast9234 yea, i own 2 channels which are @IknowJim_Object and @FLworkshop but the first channel which is my main I post object stuff and weather but my 2nd channel flworkshop I post weather and honeywell and soon smoke detectors
@@seantheenthusiast9234 well usualy the front door is not a delay time because most people dont use the front door as an entry exit so if you want to you can make the front door a perimeter so that the front door no longer has a delay
You can program the exit and entry delay times to be shorter, I usually set it for 30 seconds
That’s a first gen 6150rf, you can tell because it doesn’t have 2 tones
@@seantheenthusiast9234 Still a great keypad though!
If need any help with programming I'd be happy to help
You have to set it, check your detectors manual for more info
Apparently long exposure tk honeywell sirens and firealarms can cause hearing damage
Yeah that's definitely true.
Cool
@@seantheenthusiast9234 do you do fire alarm videos?
@@seantheenthusiast9234 ok
