Wow, I’ve never heard James Talarico before. He brings back what Christianity back to what I’ve always known it to be. We need more of him to speak to those that are lost in terms of Trump. Loved this program, Don and his guests. It was all common sense.
I am loving DL show....he is honest, direct and not afraid to voice his opinion. I also think his approach to his show has been smart and you can tell hes working hard to make it a good show and have a relevant voice

And that assembly that people are just like cattle… And what I mean by that is we’d love to be a part of something we crave being a part of a group or a part of a congregation a part of a click, a part of a group of friends, etc., and the one thing we hate more than that is having to break away from those groups. It is equivalent emotion to breaking up with a loved one. It bears the same emotional roller coaster. And because that’s the case, the majority of people will keep their head down despite seeing things that are wrong and don’t make sense. so people will continue to go to these mega churches and give away large sums of their money. They will listen to these people preach about saving the lives of people and bringing people to God yet they will watch the church and it’s leadership by new Mercedes-Benz and private jets they will watch as people in their congregation who need financial resources. Food clothing shelter are told to pray and ask for that support. it’s why you see people in Donald Trump’s worship him is this idol yet ignore the fact that they as so-called devout Christians know that the Bible says do not worship false idols. The point is that people in these groups they want to belong and part of that belonging is often the automatic veil that they put over their eyes in order to not have to go through the emotional turmoil of breaking away from those things. I think you have to absolutely meet people where they are and I think in order to correct people we have to be able to be willing to concede in the conversation while also helping them to understand that they are not always right either.
I heard D. L. Hugley criticize both parties, but he didn't denounce his stance as a Democrat. He will not settle for the lesser of two evils. Trump is not a fan favorite for many Indigenous Aboriginal Natives in the Americas, but despite his personal beliefs and European practices, he has done more indirectly for Indigenous Aboriginals to help themselves than all of the Democratic presidents have done since Bill Clinton. Biden does not have the American people and Indigenous Aboriginal Native people interests at heart.
