Do you have residence of both countries or visitor to qatar ? Did you buy insurance for car for a week and was there option to get longer insurance ? and yourself for visiting qatar by car ?
During the FIFA World Cup, they issued a one-year visa, which I obtained for myself and for my family members. You can get car insurance at the checkpoint, similar to how it's done when traveling to Bahrain. You will need a visa for Qatar, so let me know if you have any questions.
@@IndianEverywhere thanks a lot for your response . I am going to have residence visa of both countries , working in saudi and travelling in weekend to qatar where the family will reside. Trying to work out how to best manage it with weekend travel into qatar from saudi. Also how much time it takes as the process is same for residents and visitor as same or any differences!
I visited with my own car and if I remember correctly the car insurance was for one month

They did ask for medical insurance but I had it for one month. For me it was free. If anyone is planning to go now Indian will get a visa on arrival but you need to book a hotel from the Discover Qatar website

From the Hayya portal, try to get the visa beforehand. Indian and Pakistani nationals can also get visas on arrival, but they need to book a hotel through Discover Qatar

There is no need for Haya because Haya was during the Fifa World Cup and it was valid for 1 year. you can get a visa on arrival, but for that, you need to book a hotel from Discover Qatar

Iqama holder need to apply for visa on hayya portal. Yes, she needs a visa. Indian and Pakistani nationals can also obtain visas on arrival, but they require a hotel booking through Discover Qatar.

They never check fahas but to be in a safe side have all your documents perfect

They have not mentioned how much the Iqama validity you will use Hayya card to enter?
@IndianEverywhere i was applying for a gcc resident A2 visa for entry, therein it mentioned to have a min 3 months valid gcc residency.

they need to add your details on their local portal if not you need a hotel booking
