The Austrian collective of Luca Tresque, Joe Haensn, and Rotary Motion have launched a new underground techno label called Splatter that has released music on vinyl and digital. Their quality EPs and VAs have included artists like Florian Meindl, JANEIN, Linear System, and Fhase 87, the label has had a great start. Italian musician Solitario makes his Splatter debut after a number of recordings for labels such as B. Riley's CMND CTRL, M.R.E.U.X's Blumoog Codec, and Ket Robinson's KR Records. For this DT:Premiere we selected "La Ballata Del Serpente" with a ferocious sound. The pummelling, groove-fuelled bassline is the guiding force underneath skipping percussion. Later leading into moments of total intensity and hints of tribal inspiration and the flanged lead sound of rising and falling waves.
