- In this video we visit Grand Cayman and have not such a great time at 7-Mile Beach. The beach was beautiful, but we will never do this cruise excursion again!

Have you done this excursion?
If you haven't already please come and try a Mediterranean cruise. Lots to do even if you don't do a paid excursion. Just get of at the ports for free and visit Barcelona, Malaga, Lisbon etc. Great architecture great tapas etc.

We did a kayak tour in Grand Cayman two months ago that was horrible. They took us to an expensive shopping mall near the water and split us up into two groups. The first group got to do the kayaking first while the rest of us had to wait for an hour at the shopping mall. The stores in the mall were closed and there wasn't really anything to do there. We just sat on the concrete wall near the water and waited. When it was finally our turn to kayak, they only had double kayaks so my dad had to paddle with a stranger. Then the tour guide started paddling away and left us behind! My mom and I got our kayak stuck in the weeds and the guide wouldn't come back to help us. We finally got our kayak unstuck but the rest of the group was nowhere to be seen so we paddled back to the shore. The tour guide had no idea we were missing. We could have floated out to sea or flipped our kayak and drowned and the tour guide would have had no idea. Also, it was supposed to be a wildlife kayak tour but my dad said that he saw no wildlife. We tried to get a refund but the tour guide blamed everything on the weather and refused to give a refund. If you are taking an NCL cruise to GC, do not go on the kayak tour.

Once you walked farther it definitely looked like a tropical paradise! You made the best of it, for sure!

We didn't do an excursion in Grand Cayman, but our experience at the beach was not great. We paid for chairs and an umbrella and then got rudely kicked out because they were for 'an excursion'. Miscommunication among the locals selling the chairs, and we were out. I found most of the locals in Grand Cayman to be rude. Very disappointed.

There was a hammock type seat in the solarium…. It didn’t look that comfortable though lol
