Beam clashes is timing, but melee clashes are kinda up in the air.

You’re wrong about the lock on and lock off part. It didn’t automatically clock on to Vegeta. Yes Goku site and sense of him when he got blasted, but immediately knew where he was because Vegeta was blasting him while Goku was down already. It’s like that in the game as well.

You do know the speed dashes is a new mechanic in this game

the new beam clashes mechanic is from the budokai series
I don't really like it and I hate how the camera is rotating all over the place(it's annoying to look at)
I prefer having Button mashing(not analog rotating) so I can feel the struggle
