- Miami Shores police announced the arrest Tuesday of a notorious criminal who they say is accused of stealing expensive items from victims at golf courses across the nation over the past year.

Don't get too excited here. Do you know what it's going to cost to extradite him to South Carolina for example? Recently an individual in Florida was brought back to Pennsylvania to stand trial and it cost over $3000 in one day with hotel cost and plane fair to get him there . Do you know that the evidence from back in 2012 or later may not be available now or anyone who was willing to testify that may not be willing to do it now. The reason they wanted to give him bond now was they didn't want to keep him in jail because it cost up between 45 and $55,000 a year to keep someone incarcerated. Chances are a lot of these charges will be dropped because it's a lot of work to prosecute him for every thing they may be able to bring against him. I'm not on his side so I don't need Einstein to tell me that I think he's a good guy because he obviously isn't. I'm throwing out the fact that law enforcement doesn't have the bite that they contend that they do, a lot of this is bluster. It will be interesting to find out what he's prosecuted for in the end. The statute of limitation very well could've expired on a lot of these charges. I'm just a messenger here.
