What are some of your collecting horror stories? We all have them. Here's one of mine involving an eBay item I almost purchased. The item looked cool. No defects or missing pieces. But then I decided to zoom in. There was encrusted dirt in every nook and cranny. I was like omg omg omg. I just imagined myself having made that purchase...opening the box...having to deal with not only the dirt...but the smell. Can you imagine? So glad I didn't make the purchase! Please share some of your most horror-tastic stories!
I had the savers experience, maybe like 5 years ago, that as soon as I walked in, I saw someone with a cart, with something I would’ve died to get! They were like oversized, taller than 12 in easily, Belle and Beast individual ballroom figurines 😖 somethjng that they either sell at the parks now for like well over $100 or worse older larger versions that are way more rare 😵 so I’d honestly always hustle anxiously to get to my priority sections to 😅 besides dolls, toys, I would always check the glass area for snowglobes, etc
We don’t have a savers or a value village or much of anything else. I agree it’s really hard to find clothes for the dolls. I make a lot of clothes myself and buy some stuff on eBay. I don’t love the Hasbro dolls either. I’m a new subscriber!!! I just want the real life Gisselle from Enchanted. I used to live in New York.

BUT I just got my hands on a Nighty Nite Yasmin & Sasha ( first wave ) for a pretty expensive amount imo but I was so excited and I worked so hard for my bonus this month + I don't have my own car so I was like HECK IT. TREAT YO SELF. But I love watching these. So fun. Makes me wanna do my own.
When she said "I was 11 or 12 and tried to convince my parents I was a collector, I wasnt" and then me, a legit 12 year old collector. That has spent 3 years collecting hundreds of dollars worth of dolls:>

Also, that Disney Fairies bin is pretty cute, even with the uncanny art style lol. Do you ever plan on one day getting the limited edition dolls? I love them, but it will always bother me that we will probably never get the rest of the girls.
You are RIGHT on the money ahaha-- I was TERRIFIED of styling her WEIRD bangs bahaha! I am really excited to come up with a cool custom idea but her skin tone is making that difficult... I might rebody her and just repaint her head to match? I have a few Disney 17 inch customs I want to do! The bin thing is adorable! I've already gotten so much utility out of the little bins too :D I actually have been desperately trying to get them for years but Tinkerbell being expensive deters me... I'd be so annoyed to get Zarina and Fawn for retail and then pay $300+ for Tink (or just never get her). I actually JUST missed an unboxed complete set for $350 this morning and I'm incredibly salty about it. I saw that Fawn in person once at my Disney store when she first came out and she was the first LE I ever saw in person and I wanted her sooooo badly.. she'll come home someday. Her movie is one of my all time favorite Disney movies and it's nuts to me that a direct-to-video Disney channel movie is THAT good. Such a shame the series ended :(

i only collected equestria girls for about a year (5th grade) since me and my friends kept getting made fun of by teachers and classmates for still playing with dolls. but i still love those dolls many years later and i wish people’s harsh comments wouldn’t have made me to try and grow up faster and sell all of my dolls
Those mystery MLP accessories are from the EG minis Fall Formal Party Playset and the Twilight Sparkle plush is made by Hasbro from around the same time as the movie (I think?).

The moment that intro happened she has become a stan twitter meme.and also I've noticed that a lot of my scene dolls have lost their Worth I've seen them go from their overpriced 700.00$ to 15-50$ and I would say that's a good thing I mean barbie dolls have lost their Worth especially the holidays barbies they only sell for 9$ I'm thinking about saving for them but I'm not sure
None of them are worth what the listings start at, those are just stupid people and money launderers. My Scene's have always sold for reasonably cheap if you look a lot :)

Felt is a good fabric to practice with, because it doesn’t fray and you can sew it by hand pretty quickly.
