I looked up his linked in page and he actually left the drilling job in 2015 and moved to Germany to work for the military then moved back to the US a year later and did some more military work before going back to school. His last position was operations analyst for a company in New York. Looks like he’s in a better place than here. He probably tried to make it work with his baby’s mother but it didn’t so he came back and is trying to make something of himself. By just looking at his linked in it shows a guy with a direction and goal. It’s the time this was filmed he was just a guy waiting until he get time off from work. That’s it.

It happens, not everyone is meant to be a father and they know it, yes there are plenty of ways to prevent a baby from being born yes. Keep in mind he never stated he didnt want to see his daughter Plus spending that much money to go to Germany more than once a year is not wise financially. You people don't know anything about his relationship with his daughter why are you bashing him. There are Chinese mothers and fathers who send their kids to other countries so they can live a good life. Those parents very rarely see thier kids because they have very large businesses to run. Life pulls people in different ways. Untill you know everything keep your ideas in your head. Or display them in the form a question.

Fracking mud is literally Water with 0.09% silicone sand in it. They drill several thousand below the water table and seal it with cement to prevent seepage. The rest is what's explained in the video. It's literally the safest way to extract Oil and Gas.
Drillers/Frackers/Pipliners/Operaters/Off-Shore Operaters make great money with relatively low education but it requires a huge devotion to your work. They work 12-16 hour days for 3 weeks for a week off just to do it all over again.
I've been there and done it. If you manage your money right you can set yourself up to live a comfortable life. It isn't something you can do for 20 or 30 years like you would a normal office job. You do this work, pay your dues, and there are other jobs related to it that can provide a good life that aren't near as time requiring. If you're young with no family I definitely recommend it. If you already have a family and value what you have it just isn't worth it.

  • @zzzontag

Really sad video to see. Fracking aside, because it has barely anything to do with this guy. He did not create it, he is just instrumental to it and he barely knows what he's doing. Just like so many of us are doing our little jobs in a cubicle, not knowing what we're contributing to on the grand scale of things.
I have sympathy for this guy. Looks like his childhood (his mother's suicide) has traumatized him for life. And being in the war zone probably didn't help either. Then he failed at fatherhood and now, despite all the money, he seems to be really unhappy. And with so much money it's very hard to come across genuine people. Most fake friends and girlfriends are just their for the joyride. And I don't think this guy can see the difference. He seems so dysfunctional that he can't even save or invest any money. Blows it all on partying to get away from the pain. :(
I can't imagine you can blow so much on booze, so he probably also developed some other very expensive habits like cocaine. The problem is, this habits will stay and the job that funds them might be gone. If tomorrow he is fired or the company goes belly up, he will probably end up homeless on the street drinking mouthwash and smoking crack to get away from it all. I really wish somebody could appear in his life who could bring some comfort and meaning to it. Good luck to him.
I'm happy that I saw this though, 'cause I just started a new job last week that could potentially be very lucrative in the long run. I don't want to have dollar signs in my eyes obscuring the real world from the view. I want to make some meaning, not just money and this is a good reminder how money can help you or help destroy you, if you're on a self-destructive path.

That means no "Vegas" or "luxury cars" or "big homes" just spend about $50k a year while budgeting your money. And say within 5 years you got nearly a million dollars of saving money.. Then u don't haveto work anymore and u can leave this country lol.. Or budget your money over a ten year span and you have like $2 mil.. And u also can ivest some of that too.. My brother hasn't told us how much he makes (obviously) but I'm assuming its more than this guy for one main reason. He is SMART! He doesn't go waste it all. He doesnt go to Vegas, he INVESTS. He has two houses that he's bought, one to live in with his buddy and his buddy's wife, the other as an investment, to rent out after only a few years of working (he's only 27!) he plans to buy a corvette soon, and also to retire in his 30's.
