The 2022 Phillies were 11 games over .500 and made the WS even though they were 11-14 in Sept 2022. The 2023 Dbacks were 6 games over .500 and made the WS and were 15-12 in Sept. If you get in, you have a chance, and pitching usually rules the roost in the postseason.
