I’ve been thinking this is the year for me to grab an HERMES Apple Watch. Torn between space black and the silver. The double tour buckle is what is holding me at the silver because they don’t make one with black hardware
I love the space black steel however keep in mind, it comes only with the black silicone strap. Not the bright orange signature Hermes one. Also, the double tour is exceptionally small. If you have a larger wrist it may not fit! Hope that helps you make a decision! Either way good luck and it’s a nice treat to have!
@@jonathanNYC1 not the double tour I totally meant the deployment clasp leather strap! The orange strap is what is really selling the silver for me and the silver is more versatile
Thanks for the video! I want to know that do you wear the leather band in summer and how does the leather react to sweat? I used to have a leather band(not Hermes ), and it broke due to sweat in only a year
Hi! I do wear the leather bands in the summer and while they are durable they will start to weather. Leather will develop a patina and you really do need to avoid sweat as it contains salt and other bodily fluids that will cause your band to possibly smell. However with proper upkeep it will last you a very long time. I actually find baby wipes to be very good at removing surface dirt from leather bands. However your mileage may vary!
Now Apple and Hermès should issue a Series 9 in Titanium and another in Stainless Steel. That would be cool. Or, how about an Hermès Ultra in Titanium.
whats the point of spending tons on a hermes watch if you're not even going to use the main point of it which is the band? Just get a regular Apple Watch instead.

Jonathan, just got mine. Does the edge of the Barenia leather feel a little sticky and hard to go through the rings when new? Thanks.
Not really. The leather itself is very high quality. It is soft so if you wear the band tight it will leave buckle marks.
@@jonathanNYC1 it’s easier to loop through after a month. The swift leather Hermes bands are softer and easier to fasten.
