Just one thing- the line in the USA is not really the best guide..because there are high altitude areas with pools in the mountains way below that line..that get extremely cold in the winter and would need winterizing.
It's their tagline. I can maybe change it a little. But I think it's one of those double meanings. Bottom Feeder sucks up debris. It also is a pain in the clean messy pools.
@ Yeah the double meaning thing is clever and stuff but it's still weird lol. Because the meaning that i think most people would think of first is not true! It rules to clean pools! 🙂 It's a funny double meaning tagline..but it's also "offensive" in a way to me as a pool cleaner! Just kidding...sort of... lol

Close the pool that are outdoors. Indoors it's a different story.
It's area dependent. But yes, closing is a safer bet in most areas that get freezing temps.
